Round 2 -- Cops Nab "Rampage" Again
Posted Jul 17th 2008 10:44AM by TMZ Staff

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson has been picked up by police again.

Sources say last night an Irvine police car was waved down by people near the place Rampage was staying who said he was acting weird. This, of course, following the insane chase the day before in which the UFC fighter hit several cars in his monster truck and was arrested at gunpoint.

We're told Irving cops saw Rampage, deemed him a danger to himself and others, and took him to a hospital for observation.

Cops won't officially confirm if it's a psychiatric hold.

With all the head trauma these guys take, do you think he may have been injured to the point it has caused some psychological problems?

Geez, that guy is losing it. One of his friend's really need to step in for him imo.

Scooter, I doubt it has to do with any kind of head trauma. He's been fine, and I do not think it would have been anything caused by his last fight with Forrest. Of course, who really knows, that is definately always a possibility I guess.

I hope that guy gets straight, he still has a LOT to offer, and he could VERY easily make it back to the top. He needs to think about what he still has on the plate and not what he has just lost.

No, he probably just has some type of chemical imbalance and losing to Forrest could have triggered it.

Yep!! ..you wanna bet he comes of this w/a Bi-Polar diagnosis!!? So far it sounds classic bi-polar.

I know Mayhem is bi-polar big time. He's either what we know as himself just out of control acting crazy, wacky ect or he's in the fucking dumps. Like 0 in between.

What a terrible shame it was'nt diagnosed before all this happened . MMA fighters dont receive the same repeatative head trauma that a boxer does , so it is extremely unlikely to be related to his career. I honestly fail to beleive that a guy with Quintons experience and past losses that this was triggered solely by a loss to Forrest. Anyone haev any idea how his home/family/personal life was ?
