Default Tampa Bay says Bye! Bye! Keyshawn

I am surprised Tampa waited this long especially when they are having such a miserable season. He has dissed every coach he has played for and caused trouble for every team he was with. I am not saying he is a bad player b/c he is not, but he has such a big F'n mouth. It is one thing to have a mouth to pump up your game, and your teams like R.Moss, or Chad Johnson, and to be able to back it up like them. But Keyshawn is having a bad season and blaming it on Gruden. It is not Grudens fault he just has a team with a lot of big time players who also have huge egos and big mouths. Keyshawn has even had fights with W. Sapp. It sucks that during a season he would even go so far as to say that the best coach he has ever played for is Bill Parcells-- during an active season no less and the opposition too boot! What did Parcells do for Keyshawn-- it wasn't a Super Bowl ring! They bad mouthed one another during their tenure with the Jets, and now all of a sudden Keyshawn loves him again, after talking S*** about him for years. Sounds like he was campaigning to get fired so he could join the C'boys. He'll probably end up like another bigmouth receiver from Dallas-- smoking crack and telling stories of how he is still the greatest,puff-puff pass to the Ho.

I hate to sound angry, but I am b/c I hate trouble making s***-talkers. I know you shouln't hate the player just the game, but this is one time I hate the player and not his game- just his mindgames.

Other than that-
go my pathetic Giants!!!

I've come full circle as a Key fan, you see as a 13 yr old boy in Edmonton I decided that my favorite college team would be the USC trojans. Now this was in part due to the fact that my future high school football team is was called the Spartans and had the exact same color scheme as the Trojans, close enough for me, Trojans,Spartans it's all the same when you are 13. They also had my first favorite college football player Todd Marinovich (yeah yeah, I was 13). So back to my point, I loved Keyshawn in college because he played for USC, although by this time I had wised up a little and my favorite team was Ohio State. So naturally as he entered the league I was prepared to love him, like most everyone I've spent the last 8 years mostly shaking my head at the things that come out of his mouth. He has only had one year where he was what I would consider and elite wideout and that was during the 98-99 season with the Jets. His numbers were very good, not great but that was mostly a product of Parcells conservative system, but he was a true go to guy that year and his Jets were actually leading my Bronco's in the AFC championship game that year. Aside from that it's been mostly complaining and hissy fits on the sidelines, good for Gruden he's done something right this year

btw porno as Giants fan where do you stand regarding Fassel. I like him myself but maybe they do need a change. I also am a big fan of Collins, some weeks he looks like he's ready to take his place amongst the NFL elite and then he has a bad week and makes me wonder. Which really bugs me because I have never been wrong about predicting which rookie qb's would end up being good and which wouldn't, I was ready to give up on Plummer, Hoeycow can attest to that as he's a friend of mine outside of these boards. I said to him "well it looks like I finally have to admit I was wrong about a QB, Plummer just doesn't look like he'll ever turn it around". Looks like all he needed was a change in scenery

My favorite team is the Trojans when it comes to college football which is bizarre because I went to the Univ. of Arizona who's football team I hate with a passion, but I sure do love Arizona hoops! I started liking the Trojans in H.S. when I was trying to get into their film school-- got waitlisted and went somewhere else before AZ.

It's funny growing up in NY and liking the G-men, Rangers, Knicks, and Yankees- you never get used to one coach for very long, expectations are just too high and the pressure can be maddening for them by way of the fans and media. I have always loved Fassel and how he turned around the Giants- I always supported him. Everytime his job was on the line he always pulled it off, and made us happy enough that we didn't care they weren't in the Super Bowl. I still like Fassel, but I have to agree it is time for a change- not because he is a bad coach but because sometimes a team needs a change in chemistry, and I don't think it's there anymore.

I love and hate Collins at the same time for the reason you mentioned. I can't figure him out. How can you play so incredibly well one day- making smart decisions with no INT's, and the next use your head to play like your in H.S. again with 2 INT's. He really has to cut down on the INT's and bad decisions. The Dallas game in week 2 was a great indicator of just how awful he could be, and week 1 vs. the Rams was a great game for him. He really could have been in the elite, and you and I weren't the only ones who thought that-- every commentator says that, then says "but he never lives up to his potential because he is so inconsistent." Fassel is Collins biggest supporter, and if Fassel goes I have a feeling so will Collins. Maybe he should b/c we need a consistent QB, but who do you think they could replace him with? Myself, I don't see anyone b/c there really isn't anyone. The Broncs got lucky with Plummer pulling it off so far this season- unfortuantely, he did get hurt or you would have had a better record.
