20 Foods Your Cardiologist Won't Eat - Page 1 - MSN Health & Fitness - Cholesterol (http://health.msn.com/health-topics/cholesterol/articlepage.aspx?cp-documentid=100203758&GT1=31007)

I like this article becasue it gives specific food chain and restaurant dishes. Anything on this list part of your diet?

Fear of salt is so overrated. Drink a bunch of water and it flushes out.

There's not strong evidence b/t salt and any long term health problems, either. There is, however, a lot of assumption that has lead to recommendations about daily salt intake. To me, it all seems rather arbitrary.

BP is almost certainly not an issue with salt but there are other health concerns "such as aggravating asthma, gastric cancer, kidney stones, osteoporosis ... a wide range of problems."
I have bookmarked that page though. Too much salt ruins my food. I remember going to Macaroni Grille a few month ago after eating T-cake food every day and being floored at how salty the food was. My two favorite meals are on that list near the top; portabello chicken and the chicken florentine salad.
