I've been friends with Tweak since we were 4th graders and I'm new on here.
Sounds like she gave a brief rundown of me on her log but in case you missed it: I'm 26 years old and I'm also training for the triathlon in July with Tweak. She has written a circuit program for me. I started it this week and I'm miserably sore (in a good way). I'm new to circuits but I am not new to training. I ran track in high school and spent years riding horses so I have a very strong lower body. I'm all set on eating clean and my macros. I've been eating clean for over a year but just now am starting to kick it into high gear. Current stats: 5'4, 159 lbs, ??? for bodyfat I'm hoping to get around 130-135 pounds but I understand if I gain a lot of muscle, I may not hit that. (I have a BS in Biology and a minor in chemistry, on top of being pre-med so I have a pretty good idea of how the body works. Woo hoo!)I have limited internet access and crazy work hours so I'm not sure I can be on here as much as some other people but I'm very excited about my training and becoming a part of this community. I'll post my workouts that I've already done this week later on. (Btw, Tweak is standing over my shoulder. PEER PRESSURE) Looking forward to getting to know you. ![]() |

Whoa, you and I have the same degree! Sa-weeeeet.
And Tweak's my girl -- we have that in common too. Welcome welcome! Those circuits will kick your ass, by the way. I feel like such a pioneer!!!

The pics thing is a good goal. At minimum take them....even the ones you don't want to. I was highly encouraged to take them (including of my flabby hams- but I don't post those) and I'm SO GLAD I have them!

Here's the last two days.
Yesterday: off day However; I mowed the lawn with a crappy push mower for 4 hrs. and then rode my horsey for about an hour training ride. LOL! and ummm.....no fit day yesterday...oops . I swear I ate very clean though.Today: Circuits YAY! 21's for bi's 25 BB Tate presses x 10/10 Standing DB overhead press x 10/10 Cardio: treadmill level 6.0 for 10 min Bulgarian split squats on smith x10/leg/25 Push-ups on smith x20 Woodchoppers with 6lb medicine ball x15 Cardio: same as cardio #1 yeah, my upper body is pretty weak for now. Then, after work I was restless and hit the stair mill for 40 min. at level 6 intervals. I don't know how to do the nifty abreviations and so I hope this makes sense. I'll learn the professional way to write this stuff I'm sure. Food: over did the cals a bit. Cardio today was spinning class for 60 min. Why can't they get the soft gel seats instead of the one's that dig into your seat bones???
