Ok on a low carb day when i'm eating protien and fats(from anpb, almonds, evoo, omega 3 eggs) at those meals, should i still be taking a fish oil cap or should i only take one when im not eating efa's? shit's expensive and don't wanna be wasting it
fish oil contains EPA/DHA which you cannot get from the other fats you are eating.
keep taking them

cool thanks. i know the things work cause my cholesterol went from 180 to 115 using fish oil and i take kyolic garlic too about 10 caps ed
try and get a couple grams of EPA/DHA daily. Thus will depend on the strength of your caps as to how many to take.

Yes you can. Fatty fish, 2-3 times a week ends up having the same effect as far as circulating level in blood goes as taking fish oil pills daily.

I didn't say you cannot get DHA/EPA from animal fats like salmon, I said he's not getting any EPA/DHA from the fats he's eating...well besides the omega 3 eggs which are minimal.
He didn't list any fish in his post.

no, i'm not eating fish. but i appreciate that added information. it sure seems like it'd be cheaper just to keep doing the caps than to eat three salmon fillets ew. i don't really care for fish either. i do eat it rarely. i don't eat tuna no more cause it's just way too much salt to get as much protien as i want for a meal. i know about the tuna steaks but that just grosses me out. love those 3 mile island hooters shrimp though. unfortunetly it's too fucking salty. make me feel like shit.
