While attempting to cut, while carb cycling, to possibly add some lbm, should i cut out all sugars even post workout? I really don't take in any sugars except pwo. Should i cut these out.

I don't.

But I don't use sugar (dextrose) any longer PWO, I use WMS instead which is a complex carb thats mod-low GI w/ an extremely high molecular weight...like 500,000 vrs dextrose (few 100).

ok, what is WMS, where do you get it, and do you use WMS pre workout also or any other time of day?

Waxy maize starch.

I use it both pre and post WO.

I buy mine here Primaforce Carb Slam Waxy Maize Starch (http://www26.netrition.com/primaforce_carb_slam.html) but you can get it at a few diff places online.

I usualy take the WM w/ a BCAA drink like scivation extend.

do you need the bcaa for the wm to work?

No not at all. It's nice though because since the WM has such a high molecular weight it pulls into the muscle with it things like BCAA's and creatine.

i c. i don't take creatine, don't feel the need for it while on test tren and masteron hehe. i was taking bcaa's maybe i'll get some more, and get some waxy maize :) my pwo was always muscle milk OR syntrax essence with fruit in it.

do you think i'll start seeing better gains, not just for cutting fat, but better gains also by switching to this waxy maize and staying with the zero carb whey isolate? muscle milk bloats the living shit outta me

Personaly, I can feel the WM. I use it preworkout and the pumps during training are sick. PWO I use it and my muscles feel volumized after taking it.

Just don't mix a whole protein like whey into the WM as you'll slow the WM down too much. Take the WM alone, or w/ BCAA's/creatine, then wait 20 minutes and take your whey. An hour after that have a solid meal like chicken/rice.

ok, nice, you don't bloat from this like sugar though eh? how long does a 6 pound tub last you?

No bloat at all.

It lasts a while. I use like 75g Post and 38g Pre and it last me about 6 weeks.

Waxy maize starch is a great pre/post workout product.. I still like maltodextrin, even though it gets a bad rep (uncertainty of it being either high or moderate GI).

Every now and then to maximize insulin uptake, I like to take this little mix:
50g WMS
20g BCAA's
2g beta-alanine
Prior to drinking- 500mcg chromium, 150mg Cinnulin PF, 1.5g Kre-Alkalyn (optional)

is maltodextrin aka dextrose?

Nope, totally different carbs..

From wiki: maltodextrin either can be moderately sweet or have hardly any flavor at all. Maltodextrin is a polysaccharide that is used as a food additive. It is produced from starch and is usually found as a creamy-white hygroscopic powder. Maltodextrin is easily digestible, being absorbed as rapidly as glucose.

About Dextrose: Glucose (Glc), a monosaccharide (or simple sugar), is an important carbohydrate in biology. The living cell uses it as a source of energy and metabolic intermediate. Glucose is one of the main products of photosynthesis and starts cellular respiration in both prokaryotes and eukaryotes. The name comes from the Greek word glykys (γλυκύς), which means "sweet", plus the suffix "-ose" which denotes a sugar.

So malto has a longer chain (poly) while dextrose is a shorter chain saccharide..

so, being i'm on a pretty tight budget now, have all my gear, and can afford my food, but finding extra dough right now for Waxy and bcaa might be tough to come by since i'm unemployed right now. is maltodextrin something that can be found in the grocery store for cheap and something that can be used in place of the fruit and produce better results than the fruit? or should i just stick with the fruit until i can afford the Waxy? i have creatine sitting here too, once i do get waxy/bcaa, i can throw in creatine also.

thanks, someone else just pointed this out to me. :) if i order it in the plastic bag, how do i know the dose? how much to add and when? do i need to add any of that other BS, not sweeteners and flavors but there was something else i seen.

Use a tablespoon, it's 14g.. So you can control the amount, 2 tablespoons would be 28g, 42g for 3tblsp, 56g for 4, yadda-yadda.. ;)

You don't NEED these. You can do pretty well with food. Most junk food will contain simple sugars (check the ingredients, dextrose is usually listed there) so you can use this.

If you wanna cycle carb, go higher carb when training and put the carb near the training bout.
