Default Newbie

Hello all. Well I'm new here and I guess new again to the lifting world. In 1990
I was what I felt like a pretty big guy 5'10" 220lbs 56" chest 20" arms 36". Now I'm fat ass in the gym I used to say man I hope I never get that big, 17 years off tends to do that to ya. I just started Hydroxy cut Hardcore, Multi
Vitamins Mega pack, and Whey Protein. All with about 700 calories for first few weeks until I can drop about 100lbs. oh yeah im about 360 now

I feel if I can hold 700 for a couple of weeks if I do bump it up
that gives me room.

You're holding yourself back trying to cut on 700 calories. Even twice that is not enough if you're working out. You're body will fight you. Post up what you're doing on the diet board.
I suggest you try SesaPure/Glucorell and Thermorexin for fat burning.

Welcome and thanks for coming

Welcome to the board buddy

I'd bump it up to 3,000kcal per day and gradually lower it from there as the weeks go past.

It sounds like once you get back in shape you have some great genetics for size....20" arms are some serious size for a lot of people. It will all come back, just give it some time.

Thanks for stopping in

BMJ

Welcome!

Yes, you need to bump your calories ASAP... you're not gonna cut on that at all. Bump up the cals to around 3k like BMJ said. You'll drop bodyfat and gain mass MUCH easier and you'll feel a hell of a lot better too.

The less you eat, the more bodyfat you hold onto and the slower your metabolism gets.

TRUST ME, there are a ton of success stories on here in terms of dropping a lot of weight. You'll get where you wanna go but you have to do it right.
