i will post up continual progress my brethren. thanks all. i take that back though i was wrong. i was lifting in 03 cause that's when i got into the union and i was already lifting weights. i get so fucking frustrated sometimes that it seems i cannot get ripped and cannot make certain gains it seems. however, i pulled these ol pics out today and went OMG. hehe. i've came a LONG LONG WAY. more with fat loss than muscle i think. i could be bigger but i'd still be a fat slob.

thanks, i just went and got pinched first time to see where i was. it was in the middle of a high carb day and i was up 5 pounds already from the carbs. fucking carbs bloat me so terribly so fast. but anyways, i feel this is alot more accurate than the handhelds i was relying on. i pinched at 16.1 :( thought i'da been lower. but the lady figured out some stuff and told me 20 pounds of fat to go, so if i tighten this diet, keep the hormones rollin, and cardio, i should be able to drop that in 10 weeks.

That's one of the better transformations i've seen in a very long time, awesome job bro!!!

You do not even resemble the same guy in the least from your before pics.

2 tips i'd hand out to ya judging on the bodytype:

1. Always run an AI. Since this will be long-term, i'd opt for either AIFM or Aromasin since they have the least effect on lipids, not that that totally matters. I think you may have had problems with AIFM though? Keep Letro and Nolva on hand. If you can afford cabergoline, do that too.

This will make a HUGE difference in any estrogenic fat patterns both while bulking and staying lean.

2. Continue with the carb cycling. Yes, it will be normal for some of the higher carb days to make you feel a little softer. Use low-med GI sources for your carbs. As you lean up, you can get more flexible on this, and cheat a little more too. Keep the cycling year around and master it.

Awesome job again!!!

thanks much bro. i will continue the carb cycling. in your opinion. how many days should i go low before a high day. i'd like to go as long as possible without negating the effects (slower metab) 3 low - 1 high is what i've been doing for a week. i was kinda letting my cal's get up there though and i'm watching them carefully now not to break 3K a day. once results start to diminish i'll drop these to 2500.

also, what is low-med GI carbs mean?

carbs i'm sticking to now include, oats/steel cut oats/sweet taters/whole grain pasta/ whole wheat pasta. no bread/fruit/juice/milk/cottagecheese or anything like that.

Those choices are cool.

To be honost, the really isn't a set plan on what is ideal. I have stayed around 2-4 days on the low carb part until having a higher carb day, and it worked out fine for me. However, you may not even need that many days in the low carb part starting off. I usually add a day whenever I reach a rut. Here are some plans that have been suggested:

NB, who has worked with Wilson6 some in the past likes to have her higher carb days the day before her big lifts, then on that day of the lifts, just have a med amount. The day after is low carb. So the day before legs for sure she goes high.

A lot depends on your workout schedule.

So I seen one of her plans in the past that went sort of like this:

Sun: High carb
Mon: Med carb (legs or some major muscle group)
Tues: Low carb
repeat.

In the past, I would also do my larger carb day on my off day, with just cardio. This way the next day I was already full. Others do the larger carb day the day of their program, and I have done that too, and it works equally as well.

If I train on low carb days, I do not really go too heavy. Maybe 1 set of heavy, then the rest are drop sets or circuit training type sets. I do heavier movements and lifts on the day or or the day after a higher carb day.

As you can see, there just isn't one way to do it right. I've also done it high 1 day, then low 2 days. If on a low day I feel like I need some carbs, i'll throw some in directly postworkout.

Total calories consumed is still gonna be the over-riding factor though.

i see. not too worried about timing the carbs to training because i train like this example

monday chest followed by highrep-lowweight triceps
tuesday upper back followed by highrep-lowweight biceps
wednesday deads and shoulders
thursday heavy biceps triceps forearms abs
friday legs
saturday off
sunday start over

i'm training all the fucking time hehe. might as well when on 1.5g juice minimum.

i'm liking the 3 low 1 high then. it seems easy to me, so i'll stick with it and hopefully keep seeing results.

low days i'm hitting about 100-130 carbs and high days 250
seem to hit about 70-100g fat ed
protien seems to be between 270 and 350

i see about total calories. this is what i'm getting tighter on. mostly i've stayed around 3100, some of my high carb days though have shot to 4-5000. hehe. not good. so i'm gonna keep my cals at 3000 or less. really shooting for 2500. in a month i'll tighten it up even more.
