TEAR IT UP...
can't wait to see the progress and what is the said plan?

Well the biggest portion of my plan is to start eating clean, and changing my habits.
In previous posts I have stated I was a college football player who had to eat whatever I could to keep my weight. But since I am not playing I have been still eating whatever I can.
Secondly I am going to increase my cardio and change my lifting to back to a college routine. More Squats, and full body movements.

You're right on here. That is the biggest portion regardless. Diet and eating habits, and overall lifestyle are KEY.

True!!! Go for it!!! Do you have a journal?
Currently right now I just started using fitday.com to track my food intake. I am trying to be 50/40/30 right now with changing to 40/30/30.
As for the Journal for my workouts, I just got one last night and I will be recording it all. I am still trying to develop my workouts.
Another question I have is should I be on a fat burner program also?

Hey Suds!
You're gonna kick some ass. Seriously. If its easier to do 40/30/30 at first, that's cool. Absolutely use fitday.com though to be POSITIVE you're getting that. Guesstimating is frequently very, very off.
:)
Start a training log on here! :)

Congrats and welcome! Good for you for jumping into the deep end and just going for it with pics! That's awesome.
I was so nervous about starting a training log on here a couple of weeks ago but OH MY GOSH am I ever glad that I did it. It holds you accountable and at least for me, it's motivating because I'm not really going to skip a workout and then have to post that I skipped it. It's also neat to see your progress because it's easy to forget where you were a few days ago....even worse after a couple of months.

Congrats! I'm proud of you for putting the before pics up. Now follow everyones advice and start a journal, the feedback you get from everyone is EXTREMELY helpful. I've made quite a change since I joined this place a year ago, and I look forward to seeing what you accomplish!

If you're stickin to the plan, your body is going to drop fat with or without fat burners for a while. I would hold off on them until you stall down the road. JMO :)

Ask for advice in the training section, dude. Or start a training log and hit people up for advice. :)
Run a journal.....there are plenty on here that will contribute advice/feedback on routine and diet. Congrats on starting !

look here, that's a good base for a diet. it's basically a low carb day. you can use this and do this diet for X number of days and then do a high carb day, and then back to low for few days. it's called carb cycling, you can find info on it. it's working for me and it's worked for shit loads of people.
good luck

Great posts for a being the new guy on the board. As posted, start a training log and put your fitday results in it. I suggest you get your weight training in order, steal from others, and after you've been at it for a couple months try circuit training.
T-Cake has written mine and other people's programs and I"m sure she'll do yours. The first thing though is getting back into the lifestyle for a while because it's fun at first and then becomes a chore. That's the point that will make or break you. If you stick you'll live a long healthy life. Start your log and we'll all be watching you.

Couple of workout suggestions that you can choose to take or not; everyone is different and some people like different styles etc. However for me when I look at your workout plan, this is what I see:
I see minimal back work other than dead lifts, and bent over rows. Get some close and wide grip lat pull downs in there somewhere.
I would also move your skull crushers to wed. along with any other tri work that you are going to do. I prefer to do tri work on the same day that I do my chest, because you are already doing a pushing motion working those muscle groups. I don't ever like to train an opposing body part the same day, and in this case that is what you are doing in regards to your arms on Friday.
I never work bi's and tri's on the same days. So I suggest moving your tri workout to the same day as your chest; and moving your bi workout to the same day that you are doing your back. The same principle I just touched on in regards to bench and tri's being a pushing motion, working those muscle groups in conjunction - can be applied to bicep and back days. When doing back work you are doing a pulling motion with your upper body which is already hitting your bi's a little, so you might as well blow them up on that day as well.
By doing bi's and tri's on the same day, I personally feel that you are limiting what gains you can get - but thats just my opinion. I am by no means a personal trainer or a fitness guru.
As stated, this is also something that you should ask in the training forum (you may have a thread going over there, I don't know I havent looked).
This was all my quick observations by the way. I didnt give this a detailed look over so there may be some other suggestions I would make if I were to seriously critique it. But definitely get some more input from some more experienced trainers regarding this

I have been changing my diet all this past week. Which I antisipate it being the toughest portion for me just like everyone but especially IMO because I always had to eat more than anyone to gain weight.
Monday starts the lifting and cardio, with tomorrow( actually today now that I look at it.) being a day I will do cardio.

You're not the only one bro, I promise. I sit on the couch, and I lose 5 pounds. It makes maintaining difficult enough, much less gaining
You can do it bro; just set your mind to it and go.
