What? Is this right? There is an APA meeting coming to INDY at the end of April, and I went out to APA's website and looking at the totals in the "NT-not tested" and RAW numbers. Here are the records for the age class 40-44 (my class) in the 220 lbs. (I currently weight 223 lbs) http://apa-wpa.com/mensworldrecord.htm

40-44 RAW NT
335 Troy Casa -squat
350 Dan Morgan - bench
500 Dan Morgan - dl
995 Troy Casa - total

Here is what I'm currently lifting in the gym
squat - 515lbs
bench - 435 lbs
DL - 565 lbs

what am I reading wrong here if I wanted to compete in the APA event, cause my numbers kill their "records". I have to be reading something really really wrong here... help me out.

If I go to the 242 lb class, there is only one guy listed for bench at 485.

Without looking up the records, i wouldn't be surprised. Just another issue of having 2093840921830928034982 PL federations.

Good point but 500Kg is just over 1100lbs. I think we'd have heard of this Dan Morgan if he had a raw 1100 DL and a raw 770 bench.

I believe APA-WPA just started(like within the last year) keeping raw records, so no it doesnt surprise me.

Every time I show up to an APA meet I break some kind of record.

Basically anybody who can squat, bench, and dead a 45lb bar can probably go online and find some sort of federation where they can break a "world record."

I heard there's a 24-25 yr old 225-226lb meet soon. I might show up and get a trophy just for being there :)

I have broken about fifty KABEETZ PL FEDERATION World Records this year alone. We're currently closed to new members

Those are stud numbers. They're raw/unequipped lifts. I'd say they are great for anybody, not just "for your age."
