I get the coated pills from SAMS. It is the lowest cost, therefore the best for me. I don't buy into the mumbo jumbo about a specific supplement company being a better quality in the case of fish oil.

try puritan.com
cheap as hell, fast shipping, great products IMO
If you have a prescription plan where you pay like $10 a month for non-generics, have your Dr write you a script for Lovaza which is an ultra high potency EPA/DHA ethyl ester supplement.

What does the enteric coating do? Is it just for fish burps?

basically it keeps it from being digested till it gets to the intestines, so you don't have to worry about fish burps

I was just about to post something very similar. I was looking at the fish oil caps from Puritan but if you look at the ingredients it doesn't list the amount of EPA/DPA per capsule which worries me. Is this stuff really any good?

On the other hand, I was looking at product called "Triple Strength Fish Fats" which lists the exact amount of DPA/EPA and its quite high. EPA=580.5mg and DPA=297mg.
Triple Strength Fish Fats, Size: 60 soft gels (http://www.megasupplements.net/en/1397/triple-strength-fish-fats-size-60-soft-gels.html)
Which brands do you all buy?
