This is a repost of my story, as the original was lost when the board crashed.

I’ve been an active person and a weightlifter for a good portion of my life. My bodybuilding aspirations lead me to pharmaceutical enhancements, namely my first serious cycle, in 2000. While I experienced excellent results, my increasing professional obligations took priority over my personal interests. Unfortunately, my high caloric intake continued, and the sources went downhill quickly. By January of 2006 I found myself at 290 pounds at 45% body fat, and I knew it was time for serious and immediate change.

In January of 2006 I got my life back on track by committing to a serious routine of strength training, cardio, a clean diet, and supplementation. I cut my caloric intake to 2,200 calories per day with macronutrient ratios of 20/40/40 (fat/carbs/protein). I started taking Thermorexin – 2 caps three times per day. My planning was better than my execution, so I had decent results – not great.

In August of 2006 I was down to 263 pounds, and it was time to refocus my efforts. I took on a more aggressive training schedule, a stricter diet, and more supplements. I started HRT with Test at 250mg/week. I added more Anafit products to the mix. I continued with the Thermorexin, but also added Glucorell before carb meals and Sesapure following all meals. I lost 33 pounds between August 26 and December 25.

In January of 2007 I was concerned about losing too much muscle, so I increased my calories to 4,000 per day (clean sources) and I focused my efforts on building some mass. I increased my Test dose to 1,000mg/week and added NPP at 500mg/week. I continued using the Anafit products as I previously was. My weight fluctuated between 228 – 232 during this time, but my waist continued to get smaller.

On May 5, 2007 I started my most aggressive routine yet. I was 223 pounds at 18% body fat. My training was limited to heavy compound lifts and I reduced my cardio to post-workout walking for 45-60 minutes. I continued on my prior Anafit products, but also added Yohimburn ES. I would apply it every morning before work and again pre-workout at night. I started Test E at 1,200mg/week, Proviron at 50mg/day, and Tren A at 50mg/day. In the following 8 weeks I went from 223 pounds at 18% body fat to 191 at just over 10%.

Here are the before and after pictures.

Professional obligations took over again, and I’ve been hovering around 195 since last July. I’m preparing to make my next assault, and my short-term goal is to hit 200 at sub 10% in the next year.

Thank you to the AF Board for the opportunity to share ideas and strategy over the years, and a big thanks to Ulter and Macro for the great products!

This is another example of the value of Fitday. I've logged everything I've eaten for the past 2 1/2 years. Here's my nutrient summary for the period you've inquired about:

Average Calories: 2,338
Ratios: 22% Fat, 28% Carbs, 50% Protein

I was timing my carbs during the day. I would wake up around 7:00AM, and I wouldn't eat any carbs before 10:00AM. I also wouldn't eat carbs after 6:00PM. Meal #5 was generally around 6:00PM, and I would include ~25 grams (this is my pre-workout meal). I would train, then walk for ~60 minutes and finish with a pure whey shake mixed with water.

I hope this helps.

2338 what a random#, I can't wait to up my calories to that range, hah - maybe a bit more my first week off. I love carbos, I am gonna miss my oats come 3 more days, bleh!

I do the same .... no carbs till around 9:30 - 10:00am and then none after 3:30 pm. I heart carbs, boohoo! :weightlifter:

It seems random, but 2,338 was my actual average. It's somewhat more aggressive than planned, as my maintenance level is ~3,600. What can I say - I was on a mission.

2,900 isn't bad at all. I'm quite capable of cutting at that level - especially on Tren. You would probably be shocked at what I actually got away with during that period, and still within that average. I treated myself to a cheat meal per week, and it was typically quite relaxed. That period also included more beer and wine than I would care to admit to.

I feel your pain...I love carbs, but they don't care for me very much. Bastards.

Are you getting ready for contest prep?

i don't see a problem dropping 2 pounds per week with what i'm doing.
cardio on empty stomach in morning.
then
1
8 eggs/2 yolks/1tbspn evoo
2
whey isolate w/ either serving almonds or anpb
3 pre workout
chicken breast/oats/greens
4 post workout
whey/oats
5
chicken breast/whole grain pasta/greens
6
whey/anpb OR eggs again

ends up being little less than 3000 cals, less than 120 carbs, about 100g fat

high carb day which i'm gonna do 5 low then 1 high will be just dropping fats and adding oats or whole grain pasta or sweet tater to each meal except the last 1 which will be protien and fat.

hitting
test prop 700mg ew
tren a 700mg ew
npp 175mg ew

using yes before am cardio and drink 8 bags green tea with ginseng ed

I would say 2 lbs/week is conservative - I would bet 3 lbs/week. I can get away with a lot on Tren at 50mg/day, which is the highest dose my body will tolerate. With a diet that clean and twice the Tren, I think you will do very well. Keep me posted - I would love to hear how it's going.
