Got a new nikon 4100 digi-cam. Love it to death. The girlfriend was playing around and we took this. I figured this forum was dead. Fire away.

You look awesome bro.
The picture is actually very good as well. If you unplugged the cords from the wall you could actually submit that photo to an amatuer contest.

I love you guys.
I come from a place where people question what I do. Not one of my family members or those around me have once said "hey your doing great" or "we are proud of you". Never once. Instead I'm constantly questioned on my passion and sacrifice of this lifestyle. My girl is my only one near me who is positive and recognizes what I do. I have never thought about that....I kinda get choked up thinking about it. F-em'. I posted knowing that I would get a good response. I needed it and I thank anyone for any comment. I'm fueled for the next 6 months. I'm ear to ear grinning. Thanks guys. My first show will be in Manchester, NH. It is at the end of september. I am sitting this year out and hitting it in 05'. A couple of my buddies are doing this years show. They are both 21, I'm 22. They will do well.
I'm really starting to understand my own body and I think in a year I will be able to improve very much. I am certain of this.
I don't train my rear delts. They just just take the heat of my back work outs and thankfully they respond. I lean a little foward on side lateral raises as well so that makes up for something as well. Every muscle cell I own is in my shoulders. I work them for about 15 minutes each week. If not they would grow much out of proportion. I saw this happen about a year ago. It looks stupid.
Stats:
22 years old
178-180lbs
5-5"
BF % ?????
I'm going to prep for some pics at the end of august for a week just for fun. I'll have my girl take them at the gym. They should show a bit more.
I glad you guys liked this pic. I hit a few poses for my buds at the gym once and a while and when they say "wow" or "shit" I'm happy they were entertained. Thats what I'm trying for.

Congrats on the nice back development. Now just keep it up for the next 6 months like you said.

Caligula.....I believe the cut off for registered midgets in this country is 4'-5" or lower. I got those little people smoked by a solid foot.
Notice the "PC" term of "little people" instead of midget. For me to be "PC" is like ted kennedy being sober. It just came out like that. I'm becoming one of them....ah!!

Johnny, you ARE doing great. F'em if they do not appreciate what you put yourself through, day in and day out, week after week. It is much easier to be critical and mean spirited rather than to do it. They are envious.

I hate your deltoid genetics. You can actually grow them out of proportion? You suck! http://anabolicfitness.infopop.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
You're looking great for being so damned young. You have genetically blessed lines and shape. Get shredded and you'll do very well!

Be thankful cuz it's not to often you can find friend and family in the same person. For those of you that have been in relationships u know what i mean. Keep it up

I've been pretty lucky with girls.
The past one was just as beautiful as this one and also took interest/support in what I do. My ex was actually a member of this board named daisy. She was very infrequent here.
My current girl was very into gymnastics and cheering throughout her schooling so we are currently trying to get here into fitness. She is 19...I'm a bad man http://www.anabolicfitness.net/smileys/tounge[1].gif
I explain things about what I do when and why daily and she is always wide eyed and interested. Its pretty cool. She refers to it as "real world magic" being able to change.
Bottom line....she listens open-minded and doesn't watch the news, unlike the majority of our society. I'm thankful.
Pharm animal can probably agree on this, he seems happy.

Killer....tell me you've never done a rear delt shot. http://anabolicfitness.infopop.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif I'm a bit squimish thinking of it. Lately I can only deal with glutes and the occasional quad shot.

Jonny,
You cannot shot your own rear delt. You have to have someone do it for you. I was doing rear, side, tri, and bi rotation.

Caligula you are officially retarded........welcome bro! I'm going to watch sealab and spaceghost cartoons as we speak.
Killer...your brave. I for some reason have developed a creepy disorder about injects. I used to think bi's, tri's, delts, quads, and so on were no prob. For some reason I can't go near them right now?????? I mean I could, I just won't. I'll toughen up. BTW do you stay conditioned like your pics year round or do you fluctuate???

08-19-2004, 10:22 AM
I stay like my pics.... uhhhhh.... yeah......
I have flucated in the past. After those pics, I went up to a little below 11%. I went through some personal problems and had some major post cycle depression and motivation. Then I went back on and got back down to 6%. Then I came off again, had the same problems, and went back to around 10%. Before my last trip (a couple weeks ago) I was below 6 and a little bigger than those pics, right now I am at 8%. My body goes to 10% fast, seems to like being there (or maybe it is the cookies...) I planned on getting no higher than 8 this time (no, really...) but the surgery I am looking at will f%$k that up, which is why I am reconsidering having it right now.
I wanted to stay at 8% and try to make my body accept that, as it seems to with 10.
Keep in mind, these bf readings are done doing 3 point caliper.
One of my problems is I am all or nothing. I have the cheat meal, or I do not. I have the surgery and do a little cardio, or train balls to the walls. I have a hard time staying in the middle, which I guess helps when you want to get really lean.
Jonny Organon
08-20-2004, 10:07 AM
What type of surgery are we talking about. I have a feeling it is injury related???
I think your body will adapt to holding a lower or higher bf% and want to stay there. I have been as lean as my pic for while and I just keep eating more and I don't gain a pound of fat. Actually I started incorporating a super high carb day on wednesday and sunday. I eat 4200 caloires daily and 5000 on wednesday and sunday. I think you can adjust the body's set point for BF over time. I used to use bulk phases but I was just getting fat and yo-yo dieting. I didn't gain anymore muslce. Just fat to ripped, fat to ripped. I have decieded to stay relatively lean below 9% year round and slowly gain muscle. It seems to be working now as quality muscle doesn't happen over night.
Dave Palumbo (not the prettiest) is always on top for conditioning. He claims that years of running and having a low bf % as a runner has helped his body by favoring a low BF%. I've seen him in person over 300lb and he is gross but still very lean. Maybe its possible...

Take a look at the rehab page http://anabolicfitness.infopop.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Basically, the end of my colar bone has degenartive changes and stress fractures.
Yes, I want to shove 8% in my body's face. I have to work pretty hard (or not work) to get above 10-11. It would be nice to have that be 8%. FS has some old posts about BF% set-point.

Decaman, It seemed as if you hadn't been posting for awhile. Good to see you posting more. Anyways I think I stated that I don't train them much. Other than medial delts the anterior and posterior grow equally with my back and chest training. I honestly haven't directly trained rear or front delts in a very long time. Over a year maybe. My shoulders just grow. I'll do a couple sets of military press's and side lateral raises after chest once a week and thats it. Many disagree, but I thinkg delts can become too big. For myself at least, it makes my arms look bad if so.
Thanks for the compliment though. I wish more here would post pictures.

Rear and front delts that grow at will, must be nice.
Yeah, not to many pics posted here. Wasn't Caligula and Juice Pimp going to post some after cutting?
