I have been trying to lose some weight. However this month I am much much much more inactive thanusual. Usually I am running all over the place but this month I have to sit about 14 hours per day. So the diet has not been working all that well - I am lucky just not to get fatter I suppose.

But when I get home in the evening I am ravenous for carbs - I wolf down cereal, pizza - etc - anything else I can get. The drive home from work is an nour to an hour and a half. What can I do to keep my carb binging at night under control?

This is a little tough question to answer without knowing how you have ate for the rest of the day.

For me at least I have a sit down job where for the last few weeks I have been sitting for litterally 10-12 hours a day in front of a screen. I eat generally low carb through out the day, and at night I have a high carb meal with good size portion of protein and fat.

To curb your craving maybe eat more frequently back off the refined foods that spike blood sugar levels up, and you won't be as hungry on your ride home.

I find evening carbs to be the most delicious carbs of the day!

Try having a small snack in the car with you. This way you won't be so hungry when you get home. I'm also in my car alot and I eat protein bars or shakes to hold me over.

If your going to eat those carbs make sure you take Glucorell R.

Easy way to rectify your problem is to have a large red apple on the way home. It always eliminates my hunger and stabilises me long enough to keep me from binging.
