I thought Id just pop this one in. I ditched my computer chair for a swiss ball about 2 months back. At first it was rather difficult to sit the whole time as you are forced into correct posture. But now I am used to it its no problem at all sitting many hours.
I really have noticed the difference in posture and lowerback/ab coordination.
Anybody else trying this?

i would, as i am sure it much better for you than a regular chair, but that would be the final straw for the people i work with. haha

I sat on one at work all the time. I often suggest one for people with back pain or the whole slumped shoulders, forward head issue. But, they often do not like the idea too much.

But it does remind me a hilarious skit I saw on MAD TV once... hehe /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Sure does give people a giggle. Rather a laugh actually, just sitting on it.
On a more serious note: Very important to keep it well pumped up or it doesnt work your core properly.

There are several at my gym and people use them for everything from stretching to ab work... I'll bet they'd be great for plyometric training for martial arts...

I have a set of 4 swis balls...I use them for chairs at my dining room table.
