Does anyone have any information on the biomechanical analysis of the squat exercise?

I doing a project on it for one of my classes and was wondering if anybody could help.

Thanks.

You could try www.charlespoliquin.net, (http://www.charlespoliquin.net,) or any site that has either him or Ian King on it. They often write articles which include this type of information.

"Computer games don't affect kids negatively; I mean if Pac-Man affected us
as kids, we'd all be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills and
listening to repetitive electronic music."

Poliquin is not a very down to earth person, but he knows his stuff. It all depends on what type of squat. Powerlifting squats are different and do not incorperate the quads much.

For PW check out any article by Louis Simmons or Dave Tate. You will find some cool reading and some books on www.elitefts.com (http://www.elitefts.com) to help you.
