Good deal.

What you were experiencing was "referred pain" from the external rotator cuff (infraspinatus, teres minor). It is located side deltoid area and travels down the arm, sometimes as far as the elbow. You probally just did something to upset the ext cuff a little and it was letting you know about it. You may have a little suprapinatus irritation too. Let it get better, then hit those cuff exercises and stretches.

I just had a similiar episode from some volume training on DB inclines. I woke up and was WTF is this? All good now

Well said killer, one of my own clients was complaining about possible supraspin pain that I no doubt exasorbated in one of our sessions.

Isn't weird how things flare-up like that? My shoulder has been fine for a couple weeks. I squatted on Moday and by late Tuesday (especially this morning) I couldn't move my shoulder. I can actually palpate a little tender spot in the supra. Never have been able to do that before. Oh well, at least I will know where to concentrate the ice at.
