I posted this over at Elite and was told that my TSH is on the low end of normal
TSH .67 Free T4 1.13 Thyroglobulin Autoabs<20 Thyroid Peroxidase <10 Three years ago my TSH was 2.03 Can you suppliment with T3 over a long period of time to boost your metabolism or does any introduction of T3 shut down natural production? How does one deal with low thyroid when you still fall in the normal range but have hell dropping any fat at all and tend to gain alot when bulking? |

Slow down there Temple. First of all, low TSH is usually a sigh of HYPER thyroidism, not low thyroid. Second, can you tell us what the units of measure were for your tests?? I'm guessing it was mIU/L for the TSH, but I need to know if the free T4 was in pmol/L or some other units (hopefully some other units!!). If your T4 is normal and your TSH is high, then you definitely DON'T want to be taken thyroid supps!

I kind of got this figured out from another thread but do want you to take a look at it. If that is the case then why is my ass so fat????? yeah, I know - more to metabolism than just thyroid...
