What Country/state are you in? The easiest way is to call the pharmacy and ask if a visitor coming from Fla. for a month, needs a 'script from his/her Dr.?

Just walk into one of those mom and pop pharmacies and order a 10ml bottle of humilin r with U-100 insulin needles.

Humalog is script in any state, humulin R is not

You can get very lean on 'slin.
Use less(very low) carbs and more protein (your main source of macro nutrient) allow gluconeogenesis to occur.This in itself will burn calories. Use very little insulin 2-3iu's.(start with 1-2iu's)Before you feel hypo about 1 hour after shot and first meal eat more peotein. You should not have any hypoglycemic reactions. You will be shuttling amino acids and new glucose from the AA's into the muscle cells.Absolutly no glucose can go to fat cells.There willbe no spillover. You will awake tighter ,less water retention.and fuller muscle bellies. |

What I mean is,You use protein instead of carbohydrates as your glucose source.(gluconeogenesis)the making of new glucose from amino acids
You will still take some carbs but at a much lower degree.We do not want any carb spillover into the fat cell, yet we want muscle fullness .So we need gycogen but we will get it from protein. Your dose of insulin is very very small for this to work or you will go into hypoglycemia.(and have to eat a bunch of suger and get setback) For the experienced women athletes that are using 10iu's at a time they would use somewhere like 1-3iu's. Now in about an hour after their first meal,what happens? Hypo sets in.So again after the first almost all protein meal before hypo sets in eat more protein. (about 45 mins. after your shot,this is meal 2 all protein) More protein = more muscle mass we can keep during dieting down for a show. Remember insulin is a shuttler of what?Amino Acids and carbs. Not just carbs. How can you have a spillover from taking in A.A.'s? You want to know how those Nat'l ranked and Pro ranked gals look so pumped, keeping all of that muscle while dieting down to 3%bf and not being left looking flat and stringy? Well here is just part of the equation. PART 2 Diuretics WITH water intake......Muscles are mainly what?WATER! So why do some BBers cut it all out before competition?And other don't have to? If anyone is interested i'll answer this. My new girlfriend is screaming at me. I seem to be holding up reservations tonight(damn 2 finger typing)and I havent even showered are shaved at least I can use all my fingers for that. She's on DNP and a bit edgy lately |
