Default Peanut butter protein balls

I found the recipe online and tried it. They are really really good.

This makes about 15 balls:

1/2 Cup Natural Peanut Butter
1/2 Cup Honey
1/2 Cup Chocolate Protein Powder

Mix all those up in a bowl until eveything is mixed well. You might have to tinker with it a bit to get it where you want it. Its up to you.

After mixed, start rolling the mixture into balls of your desired size. Throw in the fridge for a few hours so they will hold their shape a little better. Some tasty after workout snacks.

I rolled a few of mine in steel cut oatmeal and they are pretty good.

Gotta sub the honey with something else.

All that sugar along with the PB.....might as well eat a snickers and chase it with a scoop of protein powder.

Sounds good though but the honey needs to go

From your avatar I drew the conclusion you're a long distance rider...if so, this is probably a really good recipe for you.

I would avoid these if trying to lose weight.

But as an energy source they're wonderful.

yeah some of my nutritional needs are going to be a lot different, especially when I ride. we calculated up for some of our summer rides that are 50 -75+ miles we are burning upwards of 4,000 cals during the ride.

For those who can't have the honey, substituting sugar free syrup might work. I wanna try it out .
