From the 24 hour urine collection, which is a whole lot of fun if you have never done it before
Estrone (E1) 6.6 (range 3 -12 ug/24 hours) 2- Hydroxyestrone 6.8 (no range given asifr from ug/24 hours 16s-Hydroxyestrone - none detected Estradiol (E2) 2.8 range 0-7 ug/24 hours Estriol (E3) 2.5 range 1-26 ug/24 hours testosterone 106 range (45-85 ug/24 hours) DHEA 294 5-1476 ug/24 hours cortisol 95 range 35-168 androsterone 6551 range 798-4705 progesterone none detected there is also a ton of other crap too that I don't feel like typing like dihydrotestosterone, androstenetriol, 11b-OH androsterone, ETIOcholanolone, pregnenediol 5- pregenenetriol, THE, THB, 5a-THB, THA, 5a-THF. Anyway, the T was high but the doc says the rhein range does not take into account supplementation, so I am not really high according to him. The estrogens looked good and I am not taking anything for that except for some DIM And TMG. I did not take HCG the week before the test and I am not sure if I dropped DHEA the whole week before, or just a few days before. |

No, lol
24hr urine is where you collect all of your urine from a 24hr period into a large pot That way it measures a 24hr average level of each hormone - rather than a bloodtest which gives you an immediate snapshot of the hormones in your blood at the time the sample was taken. Some hormones are released in a circadian natural rhythm so a 24hr urine is the best way to account for this. Otherwise if you simply have one blood test how do you know you're not measuring at the highest or the lowest point of the day? |
