Default What is this???

I have a spot on my lower right quad that is a litle larger than the palm of my hand that is pretty swollen. The skin in that area is numb and tingly to the touch and when I walk it feels like the muscle has attached to the skin and is pulling apart - this isn't all the time just off and on. I haven't worked quads in a week and a half thinking it was an injury and would heal but it isn't getting worse or better and it doesn't hurt. Any ideas what it is???

I would hold off training and maybe get an MRI. I agree with Macro, it sounds like a fascia tear.
