It's a GIRL!
Well all, Mom and baby are in top notch condition and are doing fine (dad is wore the hell OUT). I'll post up more details of me being in the operating room, seeing/holding her for the first time and CHANGING MY FIRST DIAPER!
And now for the stats: 6lbs. 5oz. and 19” long So the winners will need to post in this thread!! She has strawberry blond/light red hair, and deep blue eyes.... but everyone tells me these can change. She is also breast feeding ok, still needs to work at that a bit, but she is learning. All the nurses can't believe how strong she is - when the try to wrap her up in a blanket, they can't hardly hold her arms and legs!! (boy, do they know how to make a dad feel good [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif[/img]) Ok... I got to get some sleep. LAte Lobo p.s. and I'd just like to say "THANKS" to you all for being a big part of making this whole event super special - you can all concider yourselves Aunts and Uncles [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]

Congratulations!!! Glad to hear all are doing OK. You will now experience feelings that you did even know you were capable of having. Life will take on new meaning.

And The Winners Are.....
Now this contest was on two boards and as I see it, we have a 4 way tie for the winner in the length category (remember, without going over) They are:
New@Gettingbig, Keiko, Decaman, and AthenaStrong - all with a guess of 19" Now to determine the winner in the event of a tie, we use the closest guess on the weight. (without going over - which everyone did, so I had to go with the closest guess either way) AND THE WINNER FOR THE LENGTH CATEGORY IS..... KEIKO, who edges out N@GB with a guess of 6lbs 7oz. AND THE WINNER FOR THE WEIGHT CATEGORY IS........ CONTESSA with a guess of 6lbs 7oz!!! Although she did go over, no one guessed under the actual weight. So again I had to go with the closest guess. So make sure you all double check your stats cause I might have missed something..... And you winners need to e-mail me your mailing address so I can send you both a little prize. Excellent!!!!!! I'm so happy for you!!! God right now i can only dream of having children, i can't tell you how much i'm looking foreward to that day.
The feelings you must have had to see and hold your girl for the first time!!!! That child is a part of you and your wife, she's yours!!!! The whole thing seems so incredible to me!!! I'm so happy for you!!
