Default 5 Way Sled???

Am getting ready to buy one I think. Have noticed a wide price range - is there anything that I need to look for in particular when making my decision. BTW I am having the biggest yard sale ya ever saw to finance this thing so if any of you want to stop by and contribute all of my DH's stuff is for sale!!!!! Damn. I thought you were going to have an orgy by the title Seriously though, what is a 5 way sled. It's the first I've heard of them...

You are just WAY too kinky LOL! Leg press 30,40,45,50,55 degree, dual hack squat, forward thrust and calf raise. Rated at 1000#. $995 free freight. I've also seen one for $699 plus freight but no specs on it.

Is this even what I need???? I considered a smith machine but it is more $$ and duplicates alot of what I already have. This is alot of cash and I am shopping blind as I am in the middle of nowhere with no gym to go check out. Hell, y'all are the only people I know who lift.

I for one will be very jealous of you. Now that I have an Iron God Forearm Blaster this is the only piece of equipment I don't have that I really want. When you get it tell me how great it is so I will get off my butt and go looking for one. I will buy one here to save the shipping cost.

Sounds like a sound investment. I personally would buy a sled before buying a smith machine. I don't care for the smith myself and rarely use it...

Ulter - will let you know how great it is. Sold alot of worthless shit so I ordered the sled, a seated calf raise and a cable crossover. I am well on my way to opening a small gym and if it weren't for the insurance and liability I think I might do it. The biggest problem is that where we live exercise is what you get when you are too drunk to drive home from the local bar and weight lifting is when your girlfriend is too drunk to walk so you have to carry her home.
