(this appears on the Anabolic board, but I wanted to share with all of you over here, since I dont know if everybody checks over there...)
-------------------------------------------------- Ok, since we were on the subject of long term use latly, I thought Id mention that I just got my first all-around physical done since Ive been using (a bit over 5 years). A little history: Ive always been a heavy user when I cycled. 1000mg of sustanon a week, 100mg EQ a day or EOD, 50mg ref a day... cycles varying from 8 weeks to 12. Ive been on without a break since Febuary (I think... round about at least). I started with sustanon at 1000mg a week and took it to 8 weeks (clean at 8 week mark) but instead of cleaning out I decided to diet and use 500mg of AraTest a week, plus 200mg of T200 (it was laying around, getting close to expiry date, and underdosed so I threw it in) and 1 cc of injectable B complex a week. Granted thats hardly what would be called a "bridge", but thats beside the point right now. So, the physical: The results were as follows (sorry I dont have a copy but I'll relay what I remeber. The doctor doesnt know I use as a side note) height 5' 10" weight 246.5 lbs *My EKG came back sparkling! *Liver values well within acceptable range. *(I dont know what this one is, but it was good) Billy Rueben (sp?) something-or-others OK. *Thyroid function ok. *HDL and LDL were slightly elevated, he said its not TOO bad, but we'll watch it (if he knew I used he'd know that its normal) *Heptological screening came back clear (hepatic function and such). *blood pressure was normal *a bunch of other little things all checked out (like creat., Na, K, glu., yadayada) So all in all I have to say that Im pleased with it all, and my heavy (but intelligent) use of gear has done nothing but improve my life! I was espescially interested in the EKG results, so that was a relief. It easy to spout facts of this person and that uses long term (I spout that stuff ALL THE TIME!), but when youre dealing with your own body its a little more scary... so woo-hoo for me! ----------------------- "Ambition is a poor excuse for not having enough sense to be lazy" "My existance is a ripple through time"

Glad to hear that you are good to go Monster!
What do you tell the doc to get him to run everything that you want done??? If I went to my doc and said I want a physical and I want you to run this test and that test his first question is going to be WHY? I would think that for most of you guys that the doc would suspect just by looking at you but it is not that obvious in women. The last thing I want is for my doc to get out his little red pen and go to work on my medical record. |

Good to hear!
See, I truely believe that gear can be used with little amount of problems when someone takes care of themselves---takes liver & kidney support supplements, drinks proper amounts of water, etc. I too went for a full checkup-blood tests, chest xray, ekg, check kidney & liver, etc awhile ago, and the doc said the same thing--actually he said that I was in tip-top shape, and that my cholesterol was so outstanding, he wantedd to put it up on a board in the dr's room as an example! |

Well, Temple... I cant go into specific details because there is a "hustle" of mine in the works, but I was in for a made up disorder which I knew would require some of the tests I wanted done, then I just asked for the Lipid profile in addition. Of course I used dumb talk "Um, can ya check my cholesterol and all that too?". I fond a lot of doctors get standoffish with patients who might know a thing or two...

Very good Monster. And you are DEAD FUCKING on with using the "I'm a dumb person" route with the docs. One thing I might add, if you can get it, is an ultra sound of your heart. Checks your valves and such. I've been on since Jan myself and due for a check up. Right now I'm on the down side only taking 500mg of aura and 150 deca. Will flopp over to winny here in a week and then I will just have to play it by ear, what with the baby and all.
