Default ??? for the women about Birth Control

My GF is currently taking Ortho-Tricyclen for BC, she is also taking T3, Clen, and Anavar. My question is: Is the BC keeping the fat on her? She is getting stronger and more muscular, but her BF% hasn't dropped a decimal since she started 2 weeks ago. Her diet is perfect and so is the cardio and training aspect of the program. She has a big butt, which is where she holds her largest amount of fat. She is currently 151lbs at 19.4% BF. She has quite a bit of lean mass for a woman if you ask me, but would look astonishing(she already does to me) if she could drop about 5% BF. So I am guessing it has something to do with the BC. Come on ladies please help!

My personal experience with the pill says that it will make you fat. The problem is that there aren't alot of good alternative forms of birth control. Does anyone know if yohimbine hcl is effective at preventing estrogen related fat gain if used in conjunction with the pill?

In my personal experience the BC pill definitely added fat to my abs (where I'd never had a problem before) and my butt (where I didn't need any more fat). Because of the weight gain I got with the pill, I restricted my diet more and added more exercise, but the weight would NOT come off.

After about 2 years, I got off the pill. The ab fat went away pretty quickly, but that butt fat was REALLY stubborn. The pill made me hungry ALL THE TIME. Very emotional too. Yuk! I was on the so-called low dose pills. Tried Ortho-Tricyclen and Triphasil.

She says herself that she feels more emotional than normal. She apologizes for being a bitch all the time, when I don't even notice it. I'm on Tren, Test, and EQ right now and she apologizes to me!!!!!!!! Anyway, while she is on Accutane her doc wants her on sometype of BC to avoid pregnancy. I just want to know which one has the least sides as far as gaining fat goes.. Please help ladies, she's gonna kick my ass if she doesn't start losing some fat. Tripp out......... Maybe she should check into getting an IUD. I have never gone that route but gave it some serious consideration. We were done having kids so my husband got a vasectomy instead. There used to be a lot of problems with the IUD but my MD said that they are much better now but she would have much heavier periods with more cramping. Do not let them talk her into a shot of Depo Provera - it will make her really fat.

i have an IUD. the only downfall with that is if she has never had any children there is a slight risk of possible sterilazation. that is one of the things they tell you when you get it. I have two kids so i wasn't worried. I love it though. I never have to worry about anything, no pills to remember. it's great. they are relativly safe now and she should just research it before she does it so she knows all the risks.

I have an IUD too and love it! The cramps and bleeding were worse the first few periods, but now I hardly know I have it. It's only recommended for women not planning to have future children and in a monogomous relationship.
