Default I'm cramping!! Tacky subject

Oh pity me! I am sooo miserable. I started back a couple of days ago on my 3 protein drinks per day and I am dying! I am apparently sooo stopped up that I am experiencing stomach cramps of massive proportions. My intestines are playing tricks on me. I think I have to go and get there and nothing!lol This morning I was actually jealous when my husband happily putted towards the bathroom with his Flex Magazine tucked under his arm. He knew I was having problems and before shutting the door actually had the nerve to smurk and giggle at me! How rude! Now I took two exlax due to the serious nature of my situation I don't have time to sit around and wait for some bran cereal to inch it's way through my numerous feet of intestines. Although I am sharing my bathroom habits with you guys mainly to keep sane while waiting I would like to hear how you all can eat low carbs and high protein and stay regular. the protein never bothered me before I guess because of all the fat and carbs I was eating.

p.s. Off this topic Tina the lady who won the million dollars is a friend of mine and my family.
Glad she won she is one of the kindest people I have ever known.

i take something called "colon cleanse" from health plus inc. real cheap, only around $8 & it should last quite a long time. There's 5 grams of pure psyilium husk fiber in each heaping tablespoon (& yes, i'm reading off the label if you havent guessed). you should get the desired effect within 5-10 minutes. its that fast.

If you want REALLY fast, try a Fleet Enema. Don't stray too far from the bathroom until it works its magic! Those should be saved for "emergency use only" though. You're better off making sure you're getting enough water and fiber.

That's cool you know Tina. I'm glad she won. Send her my congrats.

I know how you feel! I'm always having to use one thing or another. Unfortunately Metamucial or Citrucel doesn't work for me. I have to use those oriental teas every night. Which I don't really like to do since they can be a litte unpredictable. Monster-where do you get this colon thing that works in minutes? It's not the Colon Blow from SNL is it?(anyone remember that?) hee hee.

Default vapor lock

You can get hard core vapor lock in your intestines on a high protien low carb diet. I think the best advice is drink a lot of water and eat ruffage with at least one meal a day(lettece, cabbage, spinach) and it will help. Sorry to hear about your pain. Both me and my gf had similar problems when we started our keto diet but after a week or so it seemed like our bodies got used to the high protien and high fat diet and it was not so bad.

Default re

lol vapor lock? That sounds very bad! Now I have never had a problem with gas even on high protein diets! Maybe thats the problem, I have no flammable gases building up to move things along!lol

You could always try pgf, maybe a little drastic though. You could also try drinking some pickle juice, used to like it when I was little for some reason.
