Default Can I?

I'm sure some of you were "on to me" when I was inquiring about how long it takes before loss of muscle occurs when exercise is stopped....
Well I haven't been to the gym in 3 wks. I am burn't out and have no motivation. I need to find new hope or somthing. I tried putting on a bathing suit yesterday to "shock" myself into workout mode. I just stood there thought blah! and threw it back in the drawer! Any suggestions?
My husband is doing excellent and is 6ft 225pounds
and is down to 11%bf. Thanks to DNP. But he doesn't even motivate me since he likes a little meat on the bones!lol He just says he loves me no matter what! Damn him!!!What kind of man have I married?

Annnyway, my question. While taking the 2mg of halo a day, can I add a little sust? I know I am very impatient as with anyone wanting MORE results then they have gotten. I am thinking the sust might help get me off my ass as I don't want to waste it. I just don't know about the mix. O.K. go ahead and chew my ass I'm braced for the blows. I'm not qualified to give you advice on burnout from training but it is something I experience regularly with the type of work that I do. I produce line after line of sculptures and after doing so many I absolutely cannot bring myself to do anymore, I can sit there and mash the clay around but I am really getting nowhere. I got a royalty statement yesterday that would have made me wet down my leg two years ago and I am still not motivated to sculpt. The only cure is to not force myself to do it, stay totally away from it and sometimes that means for as much as a month. It is always a miserable guilt ridden time but I know from experience that one day out of the blue I will feel like doing it again and what I do will be fresher and better than what I have done before.

I love sculptures! Send me one of a naked muscular man! I'm sure one of the men here would sit for you to sculp! Yeah, "Get your authentic Anabolic Fitness body sculptures here and for a limited time if you order NOW you will receive an extra miniature sculpture keychain of the body appendage of your choice for free, yes I said free!"

You are right I think about the gym everyday and feel guilty everyday! And don't go everyday.

LOL - the ones I do are a little too cute and chubby to turn you on! Actually you aren't too far off on the appendage thing - my best friend really wants to go into the sex toy mfg. business and wants me to do the prototypes. My mother will be sooooooo proud!

Tnhey *flame on* YOU KNOW that NO AMOUNT of TAKING ANYTHING will MOTIVATE you OFF your LAZY BUTT!!! It comes from INSIDE woman - you KNOW better!!! NO ONE and NOTHING can keep your motivation levels going!! Does this mean you are eating EVIL SUGAR AGAIN TOO??? *flame off*

Phew - LOL - Hey maybe you just needed a rest, a break, yeahhhhh, thats the ticket!!

Seriously - try working up a new workout plan. Journal it, write it down and commit to sticking with it for 8 wks with the knowledge that you will change it up at the end of that time. Set up your split, your cardio and keep track of it for the weeks to come - what you lifted, how many reps and sets etc. Its a great tool and motivating too!

sky lol all that your post lacked was a good bitch slap!lol You are right,I am going to get a new journal today and some magazines(they help)
I am not back to gorging on sugar at least. I did have a piece of cake at a party and a butterfinger a couple of days ago but that is only a tinnny drop in the bucket from my former days. My eating is still o.k. that is all I have managed to save! I am off now to get those journals and such. Thanks and everyone keep the bitching coming!

thats what happened to me a couple of months ago. I felt sooo down, life in general was too stressful. I just kept saying that i don't want to be a grownup anymore! I wanted to be like all the other 25 yr olds i know. but after a little self pity party i did just what sky suggested and did the journals, looked at books and magazines and even went as far as drilling with the guys in the fd. well that kicked my ass and i knew it was back to the gym for me!

you are on the right track now tnheygirl, get you rear in gear and get to the gym!!!!!come on now summer is right around the corner and soon you'll be wearing a bathing suit or shorts. gotta look good! unless your one of those people who lives where the weather is already nice and has been in shorts for months!!! (and if you do live in a place like that I'm jealous!!!
I could send my little brother over to ya, he helped me by saying "quit your bitchin' and get your ass in the gym" and he's really not that little anymore either 5'11 200lbs he's a big boy now so when he threatned to carry me into his gym and make me work out with his friends i took him seriously!

Default burnout

Maybe this is an effect of switching from sust to halo a while back?

W6 I didn't switch from the sust to the halo. I had been off the sust for quite a while and using nothing. Now I love the halo. I still look hard despite not working out and it gives me energy to deal with the sex overdrive it causes!

TN-you look GREAT for eating all that sugar so just think what you would look like by cleaning up your diet and getting back in the gym!!! Take advantage of the fact that you have some of the good stuff! Do you have any events coming up that you could use as a deadline to get in shape for? A reunion? A bodybuilding event? You know even the spectators come to the show looking good! Setting a date just gives ya something to aim for. I know how you feel having a man that "loves you the way you are". It's comforting to know that but it can make me lazier too. But remember you are doing this for YOU! Just tell yourself all you have to do is get to the gym then once you're there your instincts(and halo) will kick in!

Default dj

DJ That is it!1!!! The idea that I will attend a BB competition(to watch of course) is an excellent excellent motivational idea. It's easy for me to say "Well I am in better shape by only going half ass than most people I know so why bother working any harder?" BUT if I knew I was going to a place where chances are good everyone will look better than I do I would for sure get my ass up and move it! That is just a killer idea!

Um...so where am I going? I need a couple of months ya know.

Hey Tnhey - think maybe you spent too much time in the gym and your just sorta "burntout?"...I was feeling like you, not so long ago and decided to only go 4x's a week for 1 hr. and It has helped, Im back to where I look forward to going...Good luck girl!!

well I am still confused on how to work my schedule out. I need the cardio in the a.m. so I go on an empty stomach but then I have to do my weight training and am just too pooped to pump.
I don't have time to go twice a day and I need at least 4 times a week cardio so I don't know when to do my lifting since I don't want to spend 7 days per wk in the gym. What do you think about cardio 4days/wk and out of those 4 days make myself do 2 days lifting in a split routine that covers my whole bod?

Tnhey -
I tried the am cardio on empty stomach..I have a treadmill and bike at home, so I would wake up, do cardio, eat breakfast, get the kiddos off to school and then head to gym to do weights, but I just felt so tired and I had no energy..I was actually regressing on how much I could lift...So, Ive just decided to start doing cardio for 20-30 minutes after I lift(except on leg day) and forget the am empty stomach thing for now...Its just so hard to do cardio for 60 min. 3-4x's a week AND get in some good wieght training w/out feeling totally drained all the time...

How about lift M, W, F, S. On T and Th 60 min of am cardio. Divide your body parts up so that on two of the lifting days(smaller body parts) you can do a short 20-30 min of short intense cardio after you lift. You can still lift in the am but by the time you roll around to your cardio hopefully all the glycogen will be gone. I'm confused about the 30+30=60 cardio bit with all the rebutal so this way you can combine the best of both worlds! Two short intense cardio sessions after lifting and two longer moderate intensity sessions in one week!
