Regarding the thread about obtaining EPH from a pharmacy. I asked a veteran DEA agent that trains at our gym to look into this.
Although I suggested obtaining EPH from a pharmacist for purity and consistency reasons, also assuming that the person doing so would have no other reason to be concerned, I now retract my suggestion. Macrophage is pretty much correct.

.......there is not a "watch list" per se, however, a pharmacist is required to report any "suspicious activity" to DEA, and an individual who is not a "registered manufacturer" coming in to purchase any amount of EPH (HCl or sulfate) would be considered a suspicious activity. (apparently mixing EPH with anything is technically considered to be manufacturing of a (new) substance.)
in other words, it is obviously not against the law to purchase EPH, however, to mix it with something else would technically require the person doing the mixing to register as a manufacturer with DEA. if they are not a registered manufacturer and purchase EPH (again, regardless of the quantity), they would be considered "suspicious" and therefore the pharmacist would be required to report that person to DEA. (who knows if the pharmacist would follow his rules/regs, and i can't comment on whether DEA would take any action at that point if he did.) DEA is apparently beginning to see a lot of people trying to enhance/create diet supplements with raw EPH and are growing increasingly concerned given that it's only "legitimate" use is as a bronchial dialator
