Default A Vision For Your Consideration

I though it would be a good idea to let everyone know my vision for this board and hopefully this will assist us in keeping things in good order. Now most of us have accounts at both Elite and here, and that’s great. I still fully intend to hit both boards so don’t think I’m ditching Elite. It has a wide reach and it is of the utmost importance to educate the newer ladies. We MUST point them in the right direction and let them learn, as we all did. Additionally, I EXPECT all you fine female vets to help them newer folks out, and from what I’ve seen, you all have done this most unselfishly.

On this board however, I for one, and I’ll bet my next pay check my fellow female mods will concur, I would like to see the bar raised a bit when it comes to posting/answering questions. I feel this board should be more for the moderate to advanced lifter. If one does gear, I would fully expect he or she would have at least a cycle or three under their belt. If natural, then to have a solid grasp of lifting.

In general, I would like to see a bit more decorum and expertise about the online world in which we spend far to much time in.

I would encourage you all to drop in you 02 on this

You devoted and half senile mod

I agree, most of the ladies here are what I loved about Elite and have watched with great pride their progress over the last year (even if they only listened to 1/4 of what they were told).

I remember when Elite Women forum had about 8-10 active members and there was no archive.

I know 99% of the ladies here and will much rather post a thought out answer on this forum, that I know will get aleast more than passing consideration. I agree with Lobo for the basic general stuff search the Elite archives it has all been said before.

But for the question or problem that is specific and unique to you or you just can't find the answer any place else this is the place.

And yes you can drink winny.

I love you guys...even if I do only listen to 1/4 of what you tell me...

And I swear I will try to come up with some original/pertinant/more advanced questions. I'm still such a newbie even though I've been dedicated and on the right path for some time.

In the meantime I expect to sit back and learn and listen...

As someone who is "new" I want you to know that I thoroughly appreciate your vision for this board. I am here for many of the same reasons that I believe many of you are here for as well, without dissing Elite, it has become a bit of a fracus with alot of advice being given by names that I don't recognize and I am not experienced enough to evalute what they are saying. I know that when I come here I will find you all and trust the advice that you give. I will listen to what you say, when Lobo says 1 hour of cardio I will do it and will not come whining back unless that is what I am doing, if IG says 2500 calories a day then no whining from me until that is what I have done consistently for no less than 6 weeks. The point I am making is that even though I am new and ask alot of questions that I am sure you get really tired of answering I will not yank your chain, when I ask I will do what you say. I would like to see you add another discussion area to this board for new gals as I think that anyone who is serious will find their way over here from Elite. I know that you are all busy but as you find the time it would be very useful to us if you could do article type posts on the questions that you get asked most often for example Eating 101 by IG with an example of what FC eats in a day and how that would be modified for someone who is not on. Monsters "no such thing as overtraining" could also go here with some footnotes as I'm pretty sure I got the point of that. Gear - different types, how they work, what they are, what to expect from each and how to make an informed choice. How ketogenic diets work and don't work. I think it was IG who referred to the search/archives at Elite as the burmuda triangle and that is IMO an accurate description. I do understand what you want from this board and won't ask unless I really need to know and can't find where you or someone of your caliber have answered elswhere. You all have done more for me than you will ever know and for that I am deeply grateful.

As a fellow mod, I'd agree with you Lobo, specifically to keep this board top notch. While I have a grip on the fundamentals, I am learning just as much as everyone else here, which is specifically why i don't post silly questions all that much...

Am i making any sense?

Totally agree with the Vision for this Board.

I also agree with TEMPLE on providing answers to FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs) so that if any of us or any new gals have those type of questions, we don't need to bother asking, just look it up and VOILA!!. Sample cutting, bulking and maintenance diets would be an AWESOME plus. That is my weak point.

Just as TEMPLE said NO WHINING allowed if you DON'T follow the advice. Stick to it and you will see results.

I am but your humble and loyal servant, ask and it SHALL be done.

I'm with you 100% WarLobo. I also think a FAQ section could save us all a lot of typing! The new members could focus more on questions about REFINING their diet and training. Seems to be a big downfall of elite fitness.....no FAQ and a semi-random search engine.

Not to put any pressure on you to do it. But if you write an FAQ I can put a link up top that says FAQ and when you click on it another window would open to it.

AND HOW do I always seem to get myself into more work!?!?

Well, most know that I sort of did this with Elite by making a "Best Of" thread and it worked really well I think - for Elite. I'll put something together (in my spare time LOL)

OK all, I'll head this up. BUT, I better get some good info from ya!

Now this should be taylored to the womens perspective of course - and we need to make sure it's not only about anabolics...

Default big bumps for the vision

I think the vision fo rhtis board is right on! and a faqs link would be great if only to just make it quicker for vets to grab something and newbies to learn soemthing! maybe a link for recipes to go with the faqs on diet (hee hee..I'm getting tired of my menus..soooo A.D.D)

Default Thank You so much!!

I truly agree w/you Lobo...I give all of my credit to the Elite members - It has brought me to where I am today.
