I have been off the sust for a while and am wondering while I am on this carb deal if I should go back to using 1/4 amp every 2 wks? I do hold a little water while using it but I don't want to loose any muscle. My keto strips stay in the moderate range most all the time (I test 3 times per day)
I would like to take a wk or so off from the gym. Do you think I will still lose weight as long as I stay in the moderate range? BTW how can my strips read no trace after sleeping all night and eating nothing but stay in the moderate range the rest of the day? |

I don't think it would hurt to go on sust with the low carb diet. As for why your ketone strips aren't reading trace is probably because during the night you aren't using that much energy. Your body is using all the ketones for energy. Therefore your body does not need to break down fatty acids into ketones to a great extent. Once you resume activity the body starts to burn more calories extra ketones should be in your blood and your strips should turn color then...
