Default balancing board

A trainer at my gym suggested that I use a balancing board when I do squat to give my legs a "shock" by trying something different. What are some of your thoughts on this??

Default What!?!?!

I'd give the trainer a shock right upside the head with the balancing board!

How about the trainer shows you how to do this great "shock" with 300# for reps?!?!?

ther are a couple of different types one is like putting a two foot 2x10 on a log and it rolls side to side...one looks like a sewer lid with a half basketball on the bottom sort of a classic upsidedown flying saucer...now according to this trainer you stand on it to do squats
