FREE WEIGHTS are the way to go. I love it. Don't be afraid to have her work out with free weights and heavy. She will not get TOO BIG, like most inexperienced women think. She will love the changes her body makes in a short period of time and then she will be hooked.
Good Luck to you and your woman. You can not achieve what your mind can not concieve

Since the day I began lifting I did the same thing as the guys, minus the traps(until lately)....Picked up the heaviest weights I could handle, trained as intensely as I could....as you know women dont naturally produce testosterone so it is possible for them to train similar to men without getting the same results as men.

Use very light weights on a machine, go for at least 20 to 30 reps, and then toss in at least an hour of cardio every day. One must also cut back on protien to no more than 50 to 75 grams. And above all eat only two meals a day with no more than 1200 cals (600 per meal) Of course do not eat any fats, but a good amout of sugar is ok - helps with energy.
Did I forget anything???? Ahhhh, it's nice place around here, think I'll hang for a while LAte Lobo
