Default How long does it take for the curse to return?

I know this has been discussed quite a bit, but was hoping that some of y'all could give me a relative time guestimate for post-cycle normalcy.

Once you are off, usually within 1-3 months...dont worry-I have spoken to my doc about this & she said a monthly period is not required to be healthy---it is perfectly normal to have it infrequently, even if we "induced" that infrequency chemically....

Okay. So let me expand on the question.
Is it important to allow it to return and keep it around a while before engaging in the next cycle??

Default R U serious?

What about "allowing you body to return to its normal test production"? I know that I'm not producing much, but it's there nonetheless. Don't I need to give my 'receptor sites' a break? Hell, I still haven't recovered from the sinus outbreak from the last cycle.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to get started with my next cycle but I also want to still be benefitting from all this when I'm 80.

I thought you meant wait for your menstrual cycle..

I usually do 8 weeks on 8weeks.

A good rule of thumb is 1 week off for every week on.

Default Thanks for your patience.

I am mixing variables here,....but they all work in together in the big picture.

If I did an 8-week on /8-week off split over the course of a year (sorry, its the mathematician in me), then I could feasibly do 3 complete cycles. Say that I'm just so lucky as to not have my m-cycle return for 2 1/2 to 3 months. Then it is plausible that I wouldn't have to deal with the curse at all. ...not that I really mind, but something tells me thats gonna come back to bite me.

On another note, I will say this: the m-cycle doesn't appear to be gone entirely. I tend to bleed during ......sex. We're not talking rough sex here, more like the uterine wall remains (?) suffused with blood but doesn't actually shed. (I appologize for the blatant lack of terminology)
Someone made the statement (on Elite) that you can still get pregnant while on even though you are not menstrating. That would imply to me that some part of the normal cycle persists ...masked. If this is in fact the case, then I could understand one of lobo's statements (I think it was the sust thread) that a woman would not necessarily ever have to come off.

OK, you have a number of concerns here.

One. You can live a complete healthy life without having and M cycle. There was some actual research done on this very thing - to elimiate the womans cycle.... Maybe our good frieds MS or F1 could look that sort of thing up.

Two. Women do such small amounts of gear, that even if receptor down regulation exists (and I for one don't think it does) your never ever going to reach it.

Three. Spotting will, at times, happen. Sometimes even a full blown M cycle during a roid cycle.

Four. YOU CAN GET PREG WHILE ON GEAR! NO IFs ANDs OR BUTs.

Five. One of the best ways I think for women to MANAGE the sides while continuing to increas muscle mass is to take a smaller amount of gear over a much longer time frame. Currently Nitro is in her 12th week of test and continues to make gains in strengh and size... although the size has come slow, it is much more steady. She is doing weights that were her max for reps in the middle of the pyramid. This has sort of been a mental chalenge of late cause she needs to keep increasing the weight and it's sort of scarry - like something to good to be true.

I'll be posting some photos on Elite of her sometime here soon.

Hmmm-- I may have to disagree a bit on this one. I have Poly Cystic Ovarian syndrome which leads me to not have my period... not like I'm completely heartbroken over it BUT not having a period increases the risks of uterine cancer... I talked at length with my specialist on this one and got put on BC to get me to have a period... of course BC isn't great either but so in terms of to have or not to have your ms and rasing the risk of rotting away internally wellllll.....you should have it at least a couple of times a year... I'm pretty much off the bc it just gave me a jump start for a couple of months and then I went off... now i'm getting it rather regularly but I'm hoping to change that for about 12 weeks soon ;

Kaizen=====I thought the same thing, however I spoke to My Doc & she said not to worry about it-----she said there are a lot of misconceptions---I said I thought a build up on the uterine wall could lead to probs & increased risks---she said it would have to be over a very long period of time----

Hi FC!

I figured from the thread that's kind of what we're looking at considering the very low levels of BF% so many women are trying to attain here along with AS use for long term gaining and cutting... I agree definitely a long term issue... just my rabid paranoia over getting to be where i want to be physically without causing harm down the road...I want to live to be a VERY healthy and svelte 100!!
