Two infections and one painfully lumped quad...

Well, I don't know how it happened...but I managed to get an infection in both ass cheeks. On top of that I shot in my left quad, which I try not to do cause it always swells, knots up, and hurts like hell. And it did just that. But aside from walking on the painful leg...the infections are the nasty part.

So, here's what happened. Both injection sites on my glutes started looking noticeably larger than normal. I had been running a slight fever for a couple days and sweated profusely. Plus I went to bed two nights ago not feeling well at 6:30 and got up the next day for work. I finally decided to try and drain my left glute cause it hurt very badly and looked like a grapefruit under there. I finally got tired of draining what looked like strawberry Quik after about 10 sticks with a 20 (yes 20) guage pin. I also managed to find that your ass can look like a squirt gun. I'm not sure if the pressure in there was so great it shot it out, or if I actually hit a vein or something. But the shit shot out like a f'ing squirt gun.

Now I've hit bleeders before, but this was a pencil lead thin spray that took me a moment to notice was coating my bathroom rug which I had intelligently moved off to the side in case I bled all over the place. Apparantly not far enough though. It was so captivating the way it shot out that both me and my fiance stared in amazement. There is literally a fine dotted mist of blood over half the rug.

What a mess...I bled all over my p.j.'s which I then removed after it was too late, my rug, and all over my floor/sink....you name it. But I got all the puss/blood out.

Pain... damn my ass hurts. That's what you get when all you have are some 20 guage pins that you snagged from work cause your waiting on some in the mail and all your 25's are already loaded. (only 2 left). I just got done draining some more this morning, but I was glad to see all I pulled out was about 3 pins worth of opaque blood (bruise colored). So no puss left. The grapefruit is a golf ball now. (I attacked the right glute last night and it was no where near as bad, but still had several barrels of puss in there)

So the sweating and fever have subsided, and the jiggly painful ass tits are mostly gone. I have some prescription lidocaine patches that I have put over them and the lump my leg. But all in all this was not a fun experience. I took my bottle of test and baked it sterile filtered it to a new bottle and resealed with a fresh stopper.

I don't think my test was the problem because this was a 100 cc bottle and it is down to about 25cc's. I have shot in my delt (only the right one cause the left likes to imitate my left quad when I shoot it), and my right quad since this all started to unfold and have had no problems. So...and ideas what could have caused this? I'm wondering if there could have been something on the stopper, or if all the scar tissue could caused some sort of absess or something due to the frequent, high volume injections.

Who knows...but I won't be shooting there for a while. And if yall ever start thinking you could have an infection...don't wait till you have about 20cc's of liquid hell built up in your ass.

Second the suggestion for antibiotics. Just because the puss is gone doesn't mean the buggers aren't.

Your post mentioned that your 25 gauges were loaded. Are you preloading syringes? Something not sterile about the way you do that? Or store them?

I've started storing everything in individual zip lock bags. This after I noticed an insect crawling around the top of one of my bottles.

If it was a 100cc bottle and you were down to about 25cc's that is a lot of action going in and out of that bottle over time. I would say your stopper got contaminated or the gear itself due to the multi-use bottle over time.

Nah, I'm a sterility freak...but the next quote may have been the problem...

I think that may have been it. I'm very careful...but you never know. I have about 50 stoppers and tons of 100cc bottles. I'm gonna probably change them about every 50cc's or so. I always wipe them down with alcohol, but I'm gonna aire (sp?) on the side of caution, cause this sucks.

Yeah, I'm gonna get an antibiotic next week from a doc if I can't find a family member who has some extra lying around. Don't ya just hate fessin' up to your doc? Oh well...

Alright...I got a bottle of 100 (500mg) penicillin tabs. I'm gonna take 4 a day for 9 days, per the advice of the nurse who gave them to me. (it's great having friends in good places). That should take care of it.

I feel your pain. Although I haven't had an infection, these ED Syno and Tren Sticks are starting to make my body feel like a battlefield.

As much as you might dislike the idea, you might want to get yourself some enanthate and leave that prop alone for awhile...I believe you said that homebrewed prop has been your only source of test for over 3years. I know that would mess my whole world up...just a thought.

Prospect is right. Ditch the 25ml of gear. Why risk anything?

If you contaminated the gear by pushing a needle through a dirty stopper, or if some bugs got in there through those tiny little holes in the stopper (they're there, alright!), then the gear is contaminated. You must have just dodged a bullet with the two non-prob sticks since.

WTF is with these 100cc jugs, bro? Decant that shit to 20 or even 10cc vials as soon as you score one.

You know, as dumb as it may sound I never even thought of that. I have quite a few 20cc bottles and never could think of a use for them. Guess I have one now. Plus as cool as it may be to look at a big 100cc jug, it's even cooler to look at a crapload of 20cc ones.
