Default Badger's Prep for the 2008 North American


I am going to attempt to keep up with another training journal here. I've decided to do the North American Aug. 29-30 in Cleveland, OH. This puts me at about 22 weeks out. For the next six weeks I'll be bulking, then I'll start dieting 16 weeks out.
I probably won't log my food, but I'll try to keep my workouts updated. My main goal right now is to add some mass to my legs.


Stats as of now.....
Weight: 133
BF: ?

I tried to post a couple recent pics, but I'm having trouble uploading so I'll do it later.

I am extremely grateful to AF for sponsoring me through this prep. I love me some AF supps!
I'm getting ready to try out Red Blast for the first time before I go do back.....I'll let you guys know how I like it.

No, I haven't tried the beta alanine either. Truthfully, I don't think I could tolerate "the tingles"

Yes maam. I'm getting certified in Phlebotomy on top of my regular classes for my BS. I just started my clinicals, which is really cool. I will be done with that and the semester early May, and I've decided not to take any classes over the summer.

*** Loved the Red Blast!
I was crazy focused throughout my workout, and I felt pretty powerful. I did notice the effects of the stims....stimulants make me kind of anti-social.
I just kept my Ipod on though so no one would try to talk to me.


***I got some really good news today.
Most of you don't know this, but my Dad is very sick and has been waiting for a liver transplant. The past month has been especially rough. He is in the hospital every other week and is pretty much immobilized at home. It has been horrible watching him deteriorate. He doesn't look like the Dad I've known for 23 years. We've been faced with the dismal reality that he may die waiting for a donor liver, as many do. As sick as he is, the criteria that they use to place people on the waiting list doesn't work to his advantage. Unfortunately, the problems he's had for the past few years aren't even used to assess the score.
BUT...today I got a call from my step-mom letting me know that he his score has finally been brought up after his lab results this week. This means he is second in line at the hospital where he's listed. So, my Dad could receive a new liver very soon and finally start to get well.
Please keep him in your prayers.

Sweet I am so in.... redblast huh? is this a AF product too. I have yet to order some stuff - where does the time go. I don't know I guess doing cardio 2xs a day, working, lifting, eating and a 5 year old, well there isn't much time for much else but sleep.

Nice bulking for 6 weeks. What is the calorie intake going to be like? I am curious. I believe you were 125 or so right for your show? Is this right? You are now at 133, must feel great. Keep it clean sista and treat yourself atleast on the weekend...
