I agree that's pretty lame. I don't know if she was full of shit or if she really thought it went like she said it did. At her age, 12 years is a lot of fog to cut through. But she has no business telling that account without someone checking it. I'm sure the people at CBS who were there saw the speach and were like, "that's not how I remember it"

its quite possible she mixed it up with another time she was in Bosnia where she did have to run to a car cause of sniper fire, but it should have been fact checked
