Default Misunderstanding lyrics

Don't you love it when people don't understand what the lyrics are?

My favorite ones right now:

My friend's 4 year old daughter sings "How to shave my wife" instead of "How to save a life."

My ex bro-in-law knew a guy who thought the lyrics were "Heeeeeeeeeey f*ck you, buddy!" instead of "Heeeeeeeeeeeey, must be the money!" in Nelly's "Ride Wit Me".

We play mostly heavy metal (i.e. Deicide, Cannibal Corpse, etc) at the gym and one of my training partners is convinced that they are ordering chinese food in every song.

Before my dad could speak proper English he completely incoherently messed up the lyrics to a Beatles song, "I Should Have Known Better"...

Actual lyrics: "I never realized what I kiss could be"
Austria-boy Max lyrics: "I shoulda known lala bisgoo-bee"

That doesn't even make sense.

ANOTHER ONE, more recent - a Chemical Brothers' song goes "back with another one of those block rockin' beats"

Dad heard "broccoli and beats"... rofl.

I have known so many I am not sure where to begin.

circa mid 1980's, a duo called Salt and Peppa had a song called Push-it, and my girl friend thought they were saying BullSh*t

Another was the country and western song by who knows, "Playing my 6 string, on my front porch swing"...was mistaken for "Playing my sex string.."

Even though Soundgarden's song, "Fell on Black Days" has been out for about 14 years, it was only very recently I realized that he was not saying "sit on my new chaise" (as in chaise lounge .. a sort of sofa). The real lyrics are "I sure don't mind a change".

I always figured he was really proud of his new couch

They played that at Metrofit in Arlington where big Ron used to train, not sure if he still trains there or not as I moved 30miles away. Loved it, no ac nothing, basically an empty warehouse with equiment in it.

For years, I thought the Beetles lyric "When I'm 64" was "When I'm 6 feet 4". Of course, "Ruby Tuesday" from the Stones was "Groovy Tuesday".

I've sometimes thought that "Chiquitica" from ABBA was "Chicken Tikka".

I thought it was Metroflex?

My gym used to have AC but it broke and we barely cover rent each month so it's not getting fixed.

There are a number of gyms in Florida which are the same way. Most are private and only allow powerlifters though.
