A different Easter Dinner

My Mother's husband has been in the restaurant business for 40 years. He owned one of the hottest seafood restaurants in Chicago and had several in NY. They moved down here to Orlando a year after we did. He's had various jobs but never found a place where he was allowed to run the food service the way he saw fit. Last year he got a new job at a resort and they absolutely love him there. He's been there for a year and we have never seen it. Originally I was told that it was very exclusive and so I never pressed to go there. Well, my good Christian Mother invited T-Cake and I to the resort yesterday for Easter Dinner, and of course we went. This was a big step for my Mother to invite us to the resort but I didn't realize why. It's a nudist resort. The dinner was clothing optional. Most opted for clothes. But many didn't. I couldn't believe my Mother was actually sitting next to a couple with no clothes on in the dining room. She's about as conservative as any person you've ever met. Her husband asked that we come back for some of the parties and events they have at the resort. I guess he's loosened up now that we've been there.

On the other side of the spectrum, my little brother & his wife celebrated Easter with a Quaker family my sister-in-law works with.

It was described as "sort of granola-y"...

Well you know, T-Cake and I are used to it. It was just funny that my Mother was afraid to tell me and then weird to sit there with naked people walking by and coming up to the table to say hello to her husband. I guess you have to know my Mother.

Both. The couple next to us were very attractive and lean. The majority were overweight and older in the dinning room. In our tour of the place I saw younger more fit people at the pool/bar area and hanging out, pardon the pun, in the villas. There was a group of 4 younger, fit, women, walking down the street as we came in that were coming from the pool. That was first thing I saw and it got my hopes up that it was like that everywhere, but they crashed and burned in the dinning room.
