Default Curious George Update (went to Radiologist)

I first want to say thank you to Monster and to all the people on this board. It means a lot to me to know what great people and friends I surround myself with.

I just got back from the Radiologists and spoke with a Doctor. The Doc told me that it is not Cancer (whew!). He said more than likely, it is varicose veins in the testical. I have one on each. Due to the increased blood flow to that area, it is probably the reason why I haven't gotten my wife pregnant yet. They are setting up an appt for the urologist to tell me more about the surgery.

I wanted to post and thank my family here at AF for being so supportive. I couldn't even imagine not knowing all of you.

I just saw Monster's original post and seriously, "whew" is right. That's truly wonderful news CG!!

I'd say more but these godforsaken reindeer are driving me completely insane! Take care of yourself!!

Good to hear it buddy.

Now, maybe you can get yourself taken care of and have a kid and then come back to the dark side of the force.

Glad to hear you are going to be okay. Nut surgery doesnt sound like something i would wish on anyone but id rather them fix some veins than remove cancer. Hang in there bro.

Glad to hear your good news, young brother.

I'm assuming you'll have a complete workup done on your sperm count/viability, and that you'll let your physician know if there is any chance that supplemental testosterone could have cause any oligospermia. Docs might see an unusual condition and assume it's from the varicosity (extra blood flow to the testicles supposedly overheats sperm, and causes them to lose viability) when it's from gear use.

Just a note of caution: There is a lot of guesswork and unsupported claims, and IMO unnecessary surgery, in male fertility studies. The very notion that varicosity leads to enough temperature increase to render sperm unviable is itself controversial. So, they're going to want you to do a lot of things that may be unnecessary, like wear only boxer shorts, keep hot water away from your crotch when showering, getting the varicose veins stripped out. Some of my friends have gone through a lot of bullshit behind this. Go very slowly and carefully with this. It's easy to fall down a rabbithole.

Now celebrate that that's all you have to worry about.

Congrats CG, that's great news to hear bro. I was doing some serious thinking the other day and if you and Michelle are really serious about having a kid, I am willing to save you all of that trouble and money and step up to the plate and be a donor for the two of you. I'd only be doing this as a favor to you since you're such a good friend of mine, and hey, who knows they may still have a chance at hitting above 5'6" and have a chance at football instead of mens gymnastics...If you're interested, just let me know bro. Take care an see you in March!!! (Maybe sooner if I get my ass to drive up there sometime before then and get a workout in...)

P.S. CG and I say all of this in jest, I don't want anybody getting mad, just trying to bring a little sunshine and happiness into his little world...heh heh

Like I said, thank you very much for all the support you guys give me.

Bjaarki, This week I would like to see if your available to talk and catch up with things. We haven't talked in a while.

LD, I asked Michelle about the proposition and she says that it is a very tempting offer, but although she doesn't have height standards, she wants whoever helps to be over 125lbs.....Sorry, try some weight gainer and call me next month.

Thats really great news, but Im sad at the same time. See, Ive always wanted to know someone with only one testicle. I came up with the nickname 'uniballer', but I dont know anyone its apllicable too. If its OK with you, Id like to be able to call you the uniballer.

Im glad your OK.

Great news! Tell the doc those extra large veins are just for increased sexual stamina.

Why do all the dogs who are missing an eye, or leg, or testicle always named "Lucky"?

Anyway, I should have read this before I posted on the other thread. I am glad it turned out to be non-malignant.

Out of curiosity, Curious George...was the lump tender at all?

As a note to all, if you had the lump on both sides that is a good sign it is not malignant in and of itself.
