Do you split your day up in 3 training sessions. Morning cardio, afternoon weights, evening cardio?

Or do you do morning cardio, afternoon/evening weights along with PWO cardio?

I've always done the morning cardio, late afternoon weight with PWO cardio, but debating doing my weight training alone and coming back to the cardio at night.

I'm kind of torn. Part of me thinks it will be less catabolic to immediately get that PWO nutrition in after a grueling workout, get a couple meals in inbetween and get that second cardio session in before bed.

Another part of me thinks is will be less catabolic to have only two total training sessions instead of three. I may be more prone to overtrain if I'm training 3 times day.

If I do PWO cardio I limit it to 30 minutes max, where as if I were to do night cardio I'd probably go for an hour. I do an hour in the morning.

Thoughts?

If you have the time for all that... IF you need to be doing double cardio, I do am cardio around 5-6 am, go to work, train 7-9 pm and cardio 9-10 pm.

You seriously have that much time in your day to go back & forth to the gym??

Here's the deal.

I'm in school right now and not working so yeah I have a decent amount of time for me to train/study.

I have a treadmill at home so that makes cardio really easy to get in for me. I'd only be going to the gym once/day.

It sounds like you are doing PWO cardio at night then?

Do you prefer the PWO cardio, or if you could, to split it up into three different sessions?

If I am at that point I do my normal cutting cardio in the morning. Eat all day then train in the evening with cardio afterwards.

For max fat burning i look to do "empty stomach" cardio - that state can be reached two ways - either don't have eaten in 3+ hours before you do cardio (e.g. AM cardio) or burn up everything you've eaten (e.g training) and then do cardio - so yea, PWO cardio... I don't have time to go back & forth to the gym and I consider the PWO cardio a nice cool down from lifting.

My personal best times

EArly mornings and immediately after workout

Doing very high speed activity for about 5 min( someting like running faster than normal or climbing the stairs at a high speed ) and followed by a 10-15 mins of moderate speed activity releases a huge amount of GH... That helps in increasing your metabolism by a greater extent..

While on fat loss i do two splits of 30 min cardio and before bed time meal do a FAst + slow cardio for GH spike LOLS

In cardio i prefer interval training style in post workout and moderate speed jogging kind of activity in mornings... this works best for me.

I go and get it all done in one visit, probably better to split it, but don’t have that kind of time.

I just started my double cardio today.

I'm going to limit it to 45/45, with the second being PWO.

when i was doing 2x a day I'd make one session boring cardio and the 2nd either sprints outside or jump rope out side.

if it was on a training day i'd just do some elliptical for 30-40 and then go back later for the step mill.

whatever keeps it entertaining for you, there are so many options for cardio besides the treadmill...

OMG I hate cardio, but I do it 2xs a day, lol. 30 minutes in the morning and 20-30 @ night after lifting. I usually eat some eggwhites and veggies about 2hours before my morning session, bleh.

I also try to switch it up... deathmill, elyptical, stepmill... etc. I can't wait till I only have to do it about 2xs a week, lol. And I will probably either jump rope or spin, that is that :D
