Possible Infection

I shot 2cc in my glute last Monday of EQ, and Enth. normally not much soreness from these two, but just a few days ago I started to notice the site was very irritated. No reddnes, or swelling just extremly sore. Any idea on what this could be?

If your a novice to injection thats not uncommon, it could be:

-You tensed up your muscle when injecting

-2 cc can have that effect, it is a lot for a novice to shoot up all at once

-Brand of A/S

-The actual site, you may have hit a vien, or pierced a small one.

When I got an infection it didn't get red...it just got real swollen and sore. I finally stuck a needle in it and drew back and it filled quickly with what looked like strawberry milk. It's too soon to tell but if it swells and hurts for much longer I would try to stick it and see if you can draw anything out. If so, go to a doc and get some antibiotics.
