i'm currently putting together a diet plan, and I'm wondering what the best final meal of the night would be. I don't eat cottage cheese so I was thinking a lean protein and possibly a green vegetable. Any ideas?

8-10 egg white omlete with turkey and fat free feta cheese.....all protein with probably less than 3 grams of carbs if that!

I usually end with dinner to be honest...If i dont some 2% cottage cheese, low/no fat yogurt, or a small dish of carrots and grapes..I stop eating after 8:30 p.m. or so and i eat dinner around 5:30 6:00.

Same as Matt here...Dinner of chicken/steak/turkey/pork + veggies at around 10 - 10:30pm...if I am still hungry @ 12am (bedtime) I will have a shake of skim + 12g of protein.

I would add some greens along with this kind of meal..

i usually take 6 white + 1 yolk + 1g fish oil + a small serving of greens(may be few pieces of cabbage or cucumber)

Can Cassein and Whey be mixed together? I heard that it wasn't wise to mix these.

Well, casein + milk could be a Milk Protein Isolate (MPI), powdered milk or... milk.

last food meal? or like a right before bed meal?

good last food meal (2 hrs before bed) would like some broiled fish with a bunch of steamed broccoli.

before bed meal would be more like a whey/casien combo (30-40 grams total), with a spoonful of ANPB and 1g fishoil :)

Right before bed (30-45 min's)... Whey protein shake w/skim milk and maybe a small bowl of All-Bran cereal (or flax-bran muffin) to curb that carb craving..

Thats actualy a really good idea. So much filling fiber in that and it just sinks in your stomach and really takes the hunger away. A bowl of all bran w/ some Hood low carb nonfat milk :tongue2:

I works well. I've tried everything and if it didn't make me gain weight, I still felt hungry. The all-bran cereal (or similar product) really fit the bill for me. I've made it a staple since. Plus your regular every morning.. it's great :)
