Default make some changes

After looking at the results of my last cycle I need to make some changes. This was my 4th the 1st was deca only then EQ only then cut with t3/Celn/test. This last one I thought I was doing a lot, Test 600week/eq400week/dbol 1st 5 weeks. Well my strength shot up but I only put on 7 lbs and kept 5 (body fat was the same throughout). My diet was very clean and I adjusted the calories depending on hunger, so basically I increased them throughout the cycle up to around 3800cal day 43% protein 42% carbs 15% fat.

I felt my routine was tight diet/rest/workout combined but the results were not what I expected. It may be the easy thing to say but is it time to bump up dosages? I need to find what I didn’t do right and change it. I was thinking of adding winstrol next time but now I’m leaning to Deca/Test/Dbol. Will I have to bump it up to see 15-20 gains again??

You took enough gear which means you probably didn't get enough protein and training. 20 pounds is easy with that much gear, protein and training. Most of the gains are going to come in 4 through 8 so week 5 is not a good time to assess your gains.

I agree with ulter to a certain point. Your gains will come later, for me i dont really see much in the way of gains except from the dbol for the first 7-8 weeks and i only run the dbol the first four. You may need more food, if your arent gaining some kind of weight, whether good or bad, you arent eating enough. also are you getting enough sleep. but to disagree, i personally dont see anything wrong with upping the dosage at all. I really didnt even like gear until i went to a gram of test and 400 deca a week with 40mg dbol for the first 4. if you didnt get any sides before i dont see a reason not to try that and make sure you are eating enough, sleeping enough and training hard enough.

how much do you weigh? You might need to crank up those calories.

I’m at 185lbs now, my protein intake was 2 grams per lb of body weight. This cycle ended April 18th and I’m planning what to do next. I was only able to up the Dbol to 20mg, I had problems at 25 and 30 with BP.

After thinking about things a bit more the diet may be the issue. I was concerned about gaining body fat so the diet was very clean but maybe the total calories and the carbs should have been increased more. The amount of sleep I got was ok, 7.5 hrs night.

I was planning to compete in November, but I’m not where I planed to be at this point. Now I’m working around a back problem (no squats or deads this sucks!) so I think I’ll push things out till next spring. This will give me time to get healthy and to get things straightened out.

The one thing I haven’t addressed is the workout. I can stand the thought that I didn’t workout hard enough. I guess everyone likes to think they bust their ass in the gym. I feel I push myself hard everyday in the gym.

Next time go on longer and lift heavier, fewer reps, and you'll probably do much better. Your protein is right.

i know what you mean oats, you never want to think you arent working as hard as you possibly could. I dont know what kind of gym you work out at but always make sure there is never anyone working close to as hard as you. Even guys who are a lot stronger and bigger, you should still be working harder than they are. They will respect that too. Do that consistently and if everything else is in place, you will get to where you want to be.

Ulter- How much longer do you suggest? I have never ran anything longer than 10 weeks.

Hulk-When I step in the gym I feel like I own it, I’m gonna take all energy out of everyone in there. I might not be the biggest or strongest but I will bust my ass like I am.
