Happy New Year, all...
High blood pressure runs in my family, and after my dad had a stroke earlier this year, I've gotten very conscious of my blood pressure. I have recently tried the thermorexin/liporexin/glucorell-R/Yohimburn combination and have to say that I love it. But, I'm worried about my blood pressure. Does anyone know if the ingredients in these products exacerbate high blood pressure? If so, how much? Also, I've gotten a little wrist blood pressure measuring device. My blood pressure seems to vary from 90-140 Systolic and 70-100 diastolic. Is this normal daily variation, or is it due to the above combination? If I take the T/L/G/Y combo above and measure my BP an hour later, I usually get a normal reading, e.g. 120/70. But, sometimes later, I'll get 140/95, which worries me. Any clues on this? Oh, stats: 5'10, 180#, 12%bf, 34yo. Thanks, -D |

Your BP varies throughout the day and there are any number of reasons for it. TLGY shouldn't have much of an effect on your BP. There are ingredients that may have a mild effect for a short period, like the Yohimbine HCL, but that's gone fairly quickly.

My dad has it too.
I get little bp spikes after Trex every once in awhile but nothing alarming. Yohimbine HCL has the effect on me Ulter mentioned. Look to diet and other stuff as a more primary driver. Also, you may want to consider an arm cuff monitor rather than a wrist cuff. I tend to get rather high readings down on my wrist and find the arm cuff reading closer to what the doc gets. However, if you're getting the same readings on both, no need to change. |

Its the arm cuff they out your arm in to measure your BP guys.
The ER Doc that measured it for em wa susing the standardized 13" they use at hospitals(my arms are about 16-17"), and my BP was 154/95...hahahaha WHich is completely wrong and crazy. So, finally he got an XL cuff out( For arms bigger than 15"(The flexible wrap-around ones), and my BP came out as 124/73, which is about normal for me. BPM was abou 85(I was a bit nervous at the time). BTW, I just finished my bottle of Liporexin, and noticed no changes in BP measurements, or face clushing feelings whatsoever. Only the dreaded burning stomach thing(if taken on an empty stomach), which can be abated with yoghurt easily). I liked it enough that I bought some more. At 8-10 caps/day it saves me the trouble of popping so damn may pills. Now, I only have to pop Glucorrel-R, Green Tea(3g), and AlCar(10g). Saves me considerable pill swallowing morning agony...lol Fonz "Great minds talk about ideas, average minds talk about facts, and weak minds talk about people" ---- Fonz 6/2002

Best nootropic out there for doing complex tasks physiologically and intellectually. You should try it Ulter. Just divide the dose s into 4 2.5g 4X/day. No later than 4 PM. It also helps improve response times to visual disturbances..like a ball coming at you. You can react quicker to it. After R-ALA and GPlenish, ALCar is #3 in my all time best supplemments. I have to say from first hand experience that atleast T-rex has no effect on BP.
About a month ago I spent half a night in the emergency room, entering the hospital at 200 something over 170 something...obviously way out of control. My doc put me on several meds and I stopped taking all supps, including T-rex thinking that it was effecting my BP, my readings have not varied a bit since stopping. My lowest reading to date, while taking 5 mg Norvasc daily has been 138/84, with an average of 144/92. I've jumped as high as 156/106 recently...so I see no difference since stopping T-rex, other than my waist line. I've even cut out all heavy lifting, per the docs suggestions, tried cardio only (what fun) and other than loosing 6 or 7 lbs have seen no difference. My stats (today) 5'9", 203 lbs 11 % BF, 35 yrs old. SO good luck....if you find any magic solution that lowers your BP, please let me know too. BPP |

have you tried altering your sodium and pottassium intake? or at the least upping pottassium?
increasing water intake should help somewhat increasing calcium and magnesium try the gaba-ergic supplement picamalon increasing omega3 and GLA intake may also help HGH can help, though at higher doses it can have a negative effect MP
