WoW! Ivan Abajiev, this is so quality. This might be the greatest post on this board. So quality. Thank you Pan. Thank you!
Lol thanks bro. I watched the whole documentary, its interesting to see how they lived and lifted. Pretty cool to be there as a team, but they didn't seem too happy about being there day in day out!!
Pity about the dodgey translator but its still a great watch!!

Abajiev is in San Francisco right now and he is not going to fit in there at all. I think he is absolutely wonderful and I love him to death. But his style, and work capacity he is used to working with is nothing near that in the United States. He's going to find out real quick that our athletes have had it way too easy over here and are in for a rude awakening working with him. It's going to be a significant culture clash. Unfortunately our soft stance on everything is going to lead to Abajiev not being very successful here. I wish I can get out west and at least meet the man while he is still in ok health. He's getting up there in age. I am thankful for that post, I can't stop watching the vid.
If Vladimir Zatsiorsky wasn't as busy as he was, I gotta get up to PSU and shake his hand as well. He's working so many people and the sadest thing ever is Joe Paterno is such a racist old ass, he doesn't allow Zatsiorsky to work with any of the athletes up there. What a fucking joke. Way to go JoePa. The people who are losing there are all the kids who could've worked with him. Instead they have a guy with an ego the size of texas doing H.I.T. work. Unreal.
Nice find Pan, I enjoyed watching that
