My GF's father has type two diabetes and I think he might benefit from Glucorell. It's suggested to take Biotin with RALA but he had some sort of allergic reaction the last time he was taking Biotin.
How should he take Glucorell for maximum benefit being type II diabetic, and what does anyone suggest to get around Biotin? Could other B vits work as well. ...and if they approach us I bury those cockroaches! Put in your work, know your history and put that girl on staff!

Here you go:
Take R-ALA and this new drug from IAS(actually old but forgotten b/c not relevant to bodybuilders) Benfotiamine, a special synthetic version of vitamin B1 for diabetes/ sugar-control Benfotiamine This unique synthetic variant of vitamin B1 was recently reported by Michael Brownlee, M.D., as showing much promise in preventing nerve and blood-vessel damage in diabetics. People with diabetes often suffer from circulatory difficulties and vision problems etc. These effects are acquired from a build-up of sugar in the tissues. Now researchers have reported that Benfotiamine halts much of that sugar accumulation, which may lead to a vastly improved quality of life for those with the disease. Four major pathways have been highlighted as causing much of the damage of diabetes, in-essence because they help glucose-derived compounds, called triosephosphates, accumulate in vascular and nerve cells. But the activation of the enzyme transketolase, turns triosephosphates into harmless chemicals. As transketolase is a thiamine-dependent enzyme, it was thought that thiamine, (also known as vitamin B1) could activate them. However, thiamine only activates it about 20 percent, (which isn't enough to stop the glucose-derived compounds accumulating in healthy cells). But recent research has found that Benfotiamine increases the levels of transketolase by 300 percent, and also blocks three pathways completely. While its action has not been tested on a fourth pathway that controls nerve cells, it is thought that it may work similarly there. At any rate, blocking three pathways is believed to be enough to prevent many diabetes-related complications. As Dr. Brownlee has commented; It's a huge breakthrough. We believe that Benfotiamine may also have important implications for aging, because often there are considerable changes in insulin and glucose tolerance, and whilst they may not be diagnosed as diabetes, many similar complications occur as a result. Benfotiamine is now available in as a German pharmaceutical brand called Milgamma Mono, with 30x 50mg tablets from only US$17.50 If you are ready to place an order with IAS, our easy-to-use, secure and encrypted webstore is ready to accept MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Switch, Solo and JCB. You can find it at the following link. https://secure.wsa.u-net.com/www.ant...log/index.html $18 for 30 50mg pills. They are B1 derrivatives not B2. I see a lot people using rice powder and lots of people are allergic to rice.
Just FYI there are people who are also allergic to water, cold and hot so you can't say what an allergen is, no one can. Do you know how I know? Because I am allergic to cold. Really. When the allergist put a piece of ice on my inner forearm for 30 seconds, in about 3 minutes, it had hives on it. |

Thanks a bunch guys, and thanks Fonz I've never heard of that it looks real promising.
He broke out with hives and his airway consticted last time he was taking Biotin. Crazy. Should he just be taking it before meals or what? ...and if they approach us I bury those cockroaches! Put in your work, know your history and put that girl on staff!

He should be taking it at the exact same time as the r-ALA. I would be the last person to tell someone they aren't allergic to something but you should have him test the biotin. Even if he does it himself by putting it in some water (I think it's water soluble) and then scratch his inner forearm and put a little of the solution on it. Hives or an expanded area of redness are your signs.
