IG and I trained today too...I have a show in a few weeks, so holidays aren't holidays for me now!

We have always trained on the holidays(except maybe Christmas) ~that's why I love a gym like mine that's open 365 days a year!

I'm fixing to start some more leg exercises and stretching. Takes me about an hour usually. Today I'm going to try and do the exercises three times daily and see how the knee responds. Then I'll spin the bike, and ice the knee.

I always keep to my regular routine, regardless of holidays. The only exceptions are Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the Fourth. I have been tempted to go on those days, but don't want to look like a fanatic.

For the past week, however, I have been just sitting around and taking the occasional walk. I've got four holes in my belly where they cut the gall bladder out! Soon I hope to get back to doing whatever I can find that doesn't put strain on the abdominal wall. (No squats!) In a month I will be ready to resume the full routine.

I envy youse guys in the meantime.

Yeah, its nice to have a leisurely day to train when I don't have to be a million places. My wife and I did back and shoulders, then cardio.

Yeah, happy Memorial day to all the vets...in all countries. My dad was a WW II vet and ex-POW, and without being pedantic instilled a respect for those serving in the armed forces. Its honorable to be willing to defend your families, nation and people.

I always try to go on holidays, more time, less people. I get mad if they ever close the gym for a holiday.

1stRule: Show Up!
2nd Rule: Squat!
