Default Surgury while on

I am to have a minor surgury done . However I am dieting for an upcoming contest. Does gear interfer drastically ? I am not on much ....being a woman...but I don't want to take any chances. It is a necessary surgury, but i can put it off one more month if it will effect my contest prep.

Well I had my implants done as I was on a cycle of winny~It didn't interfere at all...I have heard it can possibly affect the anesthesia in a negative way...firsthand experience I had no probs though....would you be able to run it by your doc or is that a no-no?

I broke my ankle recently and had surgery twice. I was on at the time, and it didn't seem to hurt things.

If they put you under you may feel pretty bad for a day or two. I did both times, guess I may not handle it well. I hate the feeling of waking up after being "knocked out".

I wouldnt worry about the contest prep unless you're a few weeks out... Otherwise its not going to hurt you. The ONLY problem you'll face with being on when you have surgery is the possibility of VERY poor clotting ability with your blood.

I know from personal experience with wisdom teeth being pulled that the blood loss can be much great when on, than when off. Think about it... when you cut yourself, doesnt it take a LOT longer to clot and totally stop bleeding?

Good luck girl!

Thanks everyone! I will let you know how it goes. I agree though the waking up portion feels like the worlds worst hangover. Last time i went under i made a point that i don't like to get sick when i wake...so they gave me some sort of medication they give to chemo patients...i had the worst hangover it felt like...but hey, i didn't throw up. Oh well, give and take on that one.

I had an unplanned surgery during a test/dbol/eq cycle with fairly hefty dosages. I had no problems during or after the surgery, but everyone is different.

I had surgery on a Primo cycle once and and then on A Deca cycle twice. Both times the Dr's where astounded at how quickly I healed. It sure does wonders for tissue regeneration.
