Any catabolic effect to takeing methylprednisolone before training? I pinched some nerves and have some compression in my neck. Also have some ultram, vicodin and percs as well as flexeril. Is it bad to be too loose while trainiong, and maybe not get the pump I should be getting?

Be careful using Ultram. I used it instead of Hydrocodone for fear of dependency. Ultram (tramadol) is a synthetic opioid and it works on seratonin to relieve pain. Pretty much similar to SSRIs (antidepressants). I liked it because it provided relief without making me loopy. After taking for some time, you would have to taper down on usage, not stop abruptly. It will produce symptoms similar to abrupt cessation of SSRIs. They are very unpleasant.
I learned the hard way. :( I will never take Ultram again.

Medrol is an anti-inflammatory and should not affect you lifting, I don’t know about any about the others, but doubt they would affect your lifting.

How long are you planning to be on the Prednisone? It is catabolic, but I would not worry about it if it is a couple of weeks.
I had to go on it for 1 year. Worst thing ever.
